Apologies to all the old hands if this topic has cropped up before... I would like to know how much you use your GPS when searching for a cache? I have found another two today and didn't really use it at all. Instead I prefer to rely on a map and the clues and photos on the cache page, by the time the GPS catches up with where I am I'm usually on top of it. Are there purists out there who frown on not using one or does any method count as long as you find the cache? Your thoughts please....

I'm sure everyone is of a similar mind but I would just like to say I am absolutely hooked on this sport!! I have just completed my fourth find at Surprise View and I know this is something I will be doing for years to come... Sorry, but I just needed to get that off my chest...

Sorry, I didn't make that very clear! When I said I've found 3 caches on Barra I meant I know about 3 them...I'm going in just over 2 weeks and I intend to look for them. I just wanted to know if there were any more....

Could anyone tell me if there are any caches in the Uists in the Outer Hebrides? I have found 3 on the isle of Barra and one in Lewis but there don't seem to be any on the other islands. I am new to the game and I think it will add a whole new element to my trip away...
