Dot com, Thanks for responding to my question. I found some units around $360.00, but when you click on the picture, they say 60C on them, not 60CS. I'm not trying to be a broken record, but am looking for a deal on one to purchase. Brian

I took my daughter to the movies, had a geriatric moment and left my $500.00 PDA in the restroom. I felt sick to my stomach, it's my mobile office. I went back to check and it was gone. I told my daughter i was going to check to see if someone turned it in, she laughed and said, "yea right, like that is going to happen." I checked and yup, some good Samaritan had turned it in. Someone doing the right thing when noone was looking. Wonderful integrity. As a side note, Dot com, where did you find the 60cs for $349.00? I saw some online for that price but all i could find was the 60 c. Brian

Riffster, Lol, thanks for the heads up. I'm still tripping over finding my first cache. The movie keeps playing over and over in my mind triggered every time i look at the trinket taken from that ammo box. The "Boss" has given her enthusiastic o.k. to the purchase of a unit. I think she's possibly anticipating me getting excercise, something about me being so much more than the man she married. Either way, i'll take it. I looked at the Garmin map 60cs, but i was hoping to get a unit with an SD card option. Maybe i shouldn't let that influence me? Dawn†reader6

Howdy all, My first post, hopefully not my last. In the vain of others new to GPS, I'm in the market and trying to figure out which unit to purchase. A friend recommended the Explorist XL. In reading the available information on it, other than the larger screen, it seems to have less features than the 600. My desire is to find a unit that will be useful for geocaching as well as in the van for direct routing. Thanks in advance for your response. dawntreader6
