  1. Ive set up a management group for this category http://www.Waymarking.com/groups/details.a...e9-183b98b643e4
  2. Hello Id like to propose adding an Aviation Museums category. I'm not sure if it should go into the Buildings or Art/History category? What i'm looking for are museums who's primary focus is aviation history and have airplanes on display in static or flying condition and may or may not be actively working on restoring aircraft. They don't need to be on an airport to qualify but a large number of theses will be located near an airport. I've never been out of the country (USA) but I assume our friends on the other side of the pond have museums of these types? Id love to see them. There are many types I know about on a national level down to a local level. Examples of museums I've personally visited that I am thinking about: Smithsonian Air and Space -DC Hill Areospace Museum - UT Tillamook Air Museum - OR Warhawk Air museum - ID Requirements for logging. Photo of airport exterior w/sign legible Photo w/GPS included Location address GPS coordinates Hours of operation Cost Description of museums focus: WW2, Vietnam, Golden Age of flight, Civilian, Military, etc. Current restoration projects underway Aircraft on display Website Next step is setting up a management group, right. Let me know what you think, thanks.
  3. I was searching the forum trying to find out there was a way to organize all the information for Waymarking and found this thread. Is there anything like this being worked on? Or a solution for a paperless system for Waymarking? It would be a lot easier than having to remember all the categories and there requirements. Thanks.
  4. Has there been anything opinion on this subject from the guys at Groundspeak? I mean its there game right? Have they set any rules up? Or is there a lack of a rule. I.E. letting the game be played in the manner you want, inside the boundaries set up by the people who own the waymarks.
  5. Well in my defence it was waaaay down there past the scroll line. Closing topic sorry..
  6. I couldn't find a FAQ, so maybe somebody could point me in the right direction. Can you visit a waymark you own? Or is that taboo here to?
  7. There loading now, with out doing the shift F5 thing. Thanks, I really like using the Google maps function, thanks!
  8. No # at the end of the URL. (Using IE 6.0) Looks like it's stuck at loading the award_gold_star_3.png file
  9. I know its not a web site fix, but I've been using the Google IE toolbar which has a spelcheker that works in any web form including the log page and usually it's more of a help than a hindrance.
  10. I guess I re-read thru the thread to fast. I thought it was in there somewhere. Nice program thanks!
  11. How do you change the color in the exported HTML? Id like to change it to light blue.
  12. Love the google map function! One question: Is there the option to display archived caches on the google maps?
  13. I joined the Mormon Temples Group the other day and was made an officer? Ive only done one waymark, can somebody markwell me with what an officer is or does? Im still pretty foggy with how the whole waymark consept works too? Thanks.
  14. We just started leaving a sig card as a easy get started with item. Id like to upgrade to a wooden nickel eventually.
  15. Great feature! I just compared the results from my Google earth pan and pick method for a route were going next weekend and compared to the new method, I have twice as many caches to choose from now and in half the time, Thanks!! One Question (maybe more of a Google earth question) Is there a way to edit the routes to create an alternate direction from the suggested route? Mapping directions don't always go the right way.
  16. Crud! Go get'em Idahoflyer!
  17. I was just looking at it today. In the organized geocaching topic there is a pinned topic here.
  18. That would be the only thing I'd want to change too. Great program, thanks!
  19. I used to get the same result with my spinner/plucker/palm. So I though to myself what pages use more html than others - "puzzles". On my next PQ I downloaded, I excluded that type and wham it worked. It's been working like a champ ever since and my caching experience has been much more satisfying. But If I do discover a Puzzle I want to do I do enter it manually.
  20. A good positive article in our local paper. LINK. Could we get a link in the "in the news" section?
  21. Yup I'd try it. I think it would be a great puzzle cache the way I read the guidelines. You give the general starting point and it would be a unique challenge to get to the cache by using the video. As far as the video's storage location goes I'll leave that discussion for others. But it should be available 24/7. My vote is yes.
