There's still problems with the hint. Here in Sweden we try to make our caches more tourist friendly by adding the hints in both Swedish and English and the line break bug is still there (submitting a whole bunch of new ones right now). Regarding using formatted hints, this is nothing new and also something we often need to do if we need certain chars.
