  1. There was nothing wrong with the software Groundspeak screwed things up!
  2. It's not Groundspeak's responsibility to fix other peoples' software. They do advertise when changes are made to GPX files and it's up to developers to handle them appropriately. That said, the GPX format preference can sometimes get wonky. Go to your account settings & check the format. Switch it to 1.0.1, save, then set back to 1.0 & save again. That may get you back on track. But you may just be using outdated software that isn't getting updated when it needs it.
  3. Geocaching.com seems to be going down the drain. Nothing works. Nobody responds.
  4. As far as using MacCaching, it was fantastic until recently. Geocaching.com has done something to the GPX files and MacCaching will no longer import them. Two emails to geocaching have not brought a response let alone an answer. Meanwhile it is back to paper caching.
  5. Well, you can't alter a cache gpx file in the unit if that's what you mean. If you use GSAK you can edit the coords of a cache then send that to your unit. You can go to Menu/View Geocache/Enter Next Stage and key in your coords, although I believe this is temporary waypoint and does not save if you don't complete moving thru a multi. At home or in the field create a new waypoint and edit the coords using Waypoint Manager on your unit, then refer back to the original cache page for info and eventual logging. Thank you. It seems silly that it can't be changed. I use a Mac so GSAK is not possible and the 62st does not like the MacCaching program I have been using. I may just get rid of the unit. Thanks again. Mike
  6. Does anyone have any ideas for changing the coords for a geocache on the 62st. When I solve a puzzle, it would help to be able to enter the new coords, but no luck with this infernal instrument. Thanks
  7. Hi all, I am on a trip and my Nuvi seems to be stuck on acquiring satellite. While my 60csx is stuck using Ontario for searching for POI (We are now in Idaho). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike
