[Distance to coordinates or waypoint in dashboard on Garmin Montana]

Works same as the Oregon. You have at least 4 options.

1) Use the compass screen.

2) Change map dashboard.

3) Setup a profile for navigating to waypoints where the map dashboard is set to anything but geocaching.

4) Use a profile where the map dashboard is set to anything but geocaching.

 

Figured it out. When you find the first cache of a multi, you then click the menu icon and then "enter next stage". Enter coordinates and you are off. Compass, distance, dashboard is there.

I'm a geocacher with a new garmin Montana. Can anyone tell me how to go to coordinates, enter the info, and then see a dashboard similar to the geocaching compass that shows the distance to destination? The compass dashboard when going to coordinates does not seem to show the distance to the destination. Thanks
