  1. I get the same error when trying to view the jester & granny's finds. But even if the & is not surrounded by spaces, it's not working for me. For example, a cacher named 3rd&long: https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?guid=0fdfe920-b649-421e-a398-032df28999cc&wid=a5ca6bb9-f948-4ef6-abb8-9cf76dec176f&ds=2&tab=geocaches#profilepanel if I click "all geocache finds" it just says "0 results"
  2. I was a little concerned, because it's run by a cacher named xophe who has not cached since 2016. But the domain doesn't expire until 2022-05-28 and it hasn't been changed recently. The domain hosting company (enom) seems to be doing a data center migration at the moment and some of their domains aren't resolving properly. https://enomstatus.com/
  3. Now I can't do anything on the site at all. It just says "Error 500". If I open another browser and try to log in fresh, it says my password is incorrect. Cachly stopped working as well.
  4. Now if I go to my profile and click "All Geocaches Found", or one of the other type-specific links, it gives me a total different set of results than I'm used to. This must have changed recently? It gives me a list of finds sorted by distance from my home coordinates. If I click "Found On" twice, it will give me the list of finds sorted by date, recent finds first, like before. Could this be the default? Also when looking at someone else's finds on their profile, it doesn't highlight the ones I've found, like before.
  5. That's what I couldn't do before. But it works now. Thanks!
  6. 1. go to geocaching.com/play/search 2. click on search box where it says "City, state, coordinates, GC code..." then click "use my home location" 3. it brings up results, but notice the coordinates are a bit weird, they have ' instead of the minute symbol. 4. make any change to the filters and click search 5. now it brings up a page saying "0 results for..." and it shows the coordinates, but only the north, not the west. the workaround is easy enough, just delete the weird coordinates in the search box before step 4.
  7. This just happened to me today. I might have been able to change the log type, I didn't notice it was wrong until I submitted it.
  8. This happens to me every time I use the adventure lab app, on an iPhone X running 13.5.1. 1. pick an adventure lab and start it 2. switch to another app 3. switch back at this point the little area at the bottom that has the "View details" button on it pops up and then pops back down out of view. You can only see the very top of it, and can't reach the button to view details (and answer the question). I thought I had to kill the app and restart it, but now I see that I can just go back to the previous and click "Resume" again. I thought I had tried that before. Maybe they noticed this bug and partially fixed it.
  9. Looks like they fixed it; I have 15 points now, and I didn’t have to delete and relog.
  10. I logged a mystery just now and I still only got 5 points.
  11. This probably isn't helpful but I don't like streak challenges either.
  12. Try loading this cache (GCWG7G): http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=18c8fb3c-d51f-49aa-8e30-561331c70480 It says "This webpage has a redirect loop"
  13. I agree, the ignore list goes way too far now. It used to be that ignored caches didn't show up in a nearest search. That is fine. But now they don't show up in a list of other users' hides or finds? That's just weird. And there's no way to temporarily turn off the ignore list.. So if I want to find a particular cache that I'm ignoring, I have to go searching through my ignore list to find it, because that's the only place it shows up.
  14. This is still broken.. It happened today. Fortunately it happened to someone else's puzzle. (And the puzzle had a mistake in it, so I would have wasted a trip otherwise. )
  15. For now, create a pocket query for the cache type you're interested in, and then preview it to see the results.
  16. Where are the activation codes for these? I can't find them on coincodes.com or your website.
  17. Hi there, I've been following the fire news closely.. I'm glad to hear that things are getting better there. I hope everyone is OK and still has a house. Looks like an apartment complex in Rancho Bernardo I used to live in was damaged. BTW, I've been watching for a note here from PassingWind, but he just posted a note to our local MN geocaching forum (ordering some coins ).
  18. This happened to me again.. Geo-mail wasn't working on 9/12, when two of my puzzle caches got approved. Nobody got the notification message. Usually when geo-mail is not working, all the old mail gets sent right away when it starts working again. Not this time.. People didn't get notified of the new cache until 9/24, and at that time, everyone who was watching those two caches also got a reviewer note with the cache coords in it. Not the end of the world, I guess.. I just posted a note saying I will delete your log unless you send me proof that you solved the puzzle. Still, I thought I'd warn people again. Not sure what else to do about it, except to make sure that geo-mail is working before submitting a cache. I assume this would be an issue for multis too. Another weird side effect of this glitch.. On 9/24, I took a TB out of a cache. Since the last holder hadn't logged it into the cache yet, I put it on my watchlist instead of grabbing it. Later that day, when mail started working, I got a watchlist note about somebody picking up the TB on 9/12. Very weird.. I looked at the TB logs, and that person had already logged it into another a cache a few days later, and then someone else had picked it up since then. That person logged the TB on 9/12, almost two weeks before I put it on my watchlist, and I still got the note...
  19. I submitted a puzzle cache recently, and it got approved while the email wasn't working (watchlist/owner notifications weren't being sent out). Someone else saw it anyway, and bookmarked it. Then today, when the email started working again, he got this in the mail: ------------------------------------------------ This is an automated message from Geocaching You are receiving this email because you have bookmarked this listing. Visit theweb site to change your bookmark list settings. Location: Minnesota, United States Surfer Joe posted a reviewer note for Picture Sudoku 5 (Not Published) (UnknownCache) at 7/11/2007 Log Date: 7/11/2007 CACHE COORDINATES N 44 51.496 W 093 21.061 FINAL (Final Location) - N 44 ??.??? W 093 ??.??? ----------------------------------------------- Except that it posted the actual final coords, instead of the question marks! Fortunately he had already solved and found the puzzle. But if anyone else saw it and bookmarked it or put it on their watch list, were the final coords revealed to them too? Not good! I hope this gets fixed, but just to be on the safe side, I will not submit any puzzle caches (or multis, I suppose) while the email isn't working.
  20. Wow, lots of drama surrounding these coins. My coin is awesome, wish I'd gotten another one.. Thanks
  21. 12 Minnesota - LadyBee4T? LadyBee4T is a Michigan cacher. Did you mean to list her under Michigan? If so, then I'll take care of Minnesota..
  22. It looks pretty easy to remove a friend from your list, so I wouldn't worry.
  23. If you have an x-series Garmin, which I know you do, you could load a lot more than 500 caches as custom points of interest by using the POI loader. It's not as nice as using waypoints but it works.
