  1. Well done Hazel. Isn't it a lovely feeling to get there. You even managed to do it on a sunny day as well and got to have a party afterwards at the site <_<
  2. Congratulations Sean on finding your 1000th cache last night on our way home from the Oxford event. What a lovely (and very wet) spot to find it on (Mere Sudoki 4). Glad we all did it on the same weekend.
  3. Big congrats Lolly. Glad we were there when you did it especially after your flake moment
  4. Well done to you all. You must have done some walking to get those 500 if last weekend was anything to go by. Good job you still had a car in one piece to do the course See you soon.
  5. Well done Mark. You even had time for shopping as well
  6. Well done both of you. Watch out Matt she's catching up to you.
  7. Congratulations Vix and Ashaaria. Great achievements both of you.
  8. I think they're great particularly if you're out with a group of people having a good old natter. It's not as easy to have a sociable day out if you're spending time jumping in and out of the car and travelling between caches on a regular basis. It breaks up the walk for the kids as well so they don't necessarily realise quite how far they've walked.
  9. Wow, that was quick thanks Tony. That'll save setting up an excel list or writing numbers against the print out.
  10. How do you do that then? I've not seen a way to order them the way you want them. That would be really handy.
  11. Unfortunately I think you're looking for GCC349 International Space Station. It was at one point classed as a virtual but was then reclassified August last year to be a locationless cache and then promptly archived as they were no longer allowed! We managed to log it before it went from the Lets Go Camping in Oxford event where there were loads of us just sitting round the campsite watching it.
  12. We got some designed and made as Christmas presents. We'd love to trade with you. We have the lovely West Viewers tag or the Horrid Henry tag. Not sure how to get piccies on here but they're numbers 5208 and 5154 in the gallery.
  13. Well done to you both. We've still got quite a few to find even after hitting the area quite hard over the last couple of months. There's no way you'll stop at 100 though. You won't be able to resist when you next find that ideal spot or you get another idea for an unusual container and we certainly l k forward to them all!
  14. Oh no we had more photos to add but just shortly after uploading them to the laptop it went capput. Never mind we can still say congratulations to all the cachers attending the event this weekend who reached their milestones. Mark you never even mentioned that you'd done your 400th!
  15. Campsite all booked up. Can't wait. Will try to get the Friday booked off so we can arrive before midnight
  16. Well done on the 1500 Matt. TWVs & the Horrid One
  17. 2 West Viewers and Horrid Henry added but 1 of the West Viewers is on a day already taken so that'll be 10p more.
  18. Well done Ashley. Bet your skint now but it was certainly for a worthwhile cause!
  19. Hehe, at least I'm not the only one that does that then Ian. I just opted to buy a set of spares and keep them handy or find the nearest biro pen top!
  20. On MMv4 I use the import option located above the Import from NMEA on the menu which I use to bring up the dialog box to locate the files previously saved from GSAK. Not sure if its the same on V5 though.
  21. A big congratulations to Dawn and Ian who've found their 1500th cache this weekend. Well done to you both. You'll be at 2000 before you know it!
  22. Oh no, I've just had a look at where ours has to go. The nearest cache is just over 400 miles away but it's a virtual, the next is just short of 500 miles away and is in a totally different country with terrain rating of 5. I feel ours is doomed for failure however I'm sure it'll make lots of people aware of the cause on it's way anyway.
