We were talking about doing Old Town in the morning and Balboa Park in the afternoon. I sent you my cell phone number.

Ok, here is the plan. We are going to meet at 9am at Hazard Center to leave extra vehicles. Coordinates are N32 46.255 W117 09.615. The entrance to the parking lot is on Frazee Road. From there we will head to Old Town and work our way to Balboa Park. If you have an MP3 player, load up the file for Podcache in the Park. I still haven't listened to it to hear what we need to do yet.

I just took a look at some of the different temps around town tomorrow. (below are the high temps). Escondido: 97 El Cajon: 96 Ramona: 104 Old Town : 84 You sure you don't want to hike up Gower? (had to update, was looking at Friday's temp.)

If there is anything I could do to help, I would be willing.

nothing yet, you have anywhere specific you want to go or caches you want to do? We have been keeping closer to the cooler weather of the beach for the most part.

From looking at the TB page, it looks like habu! has it.

I think the cache I adopted called "P&K - Sunset" can be on that list. Just make sure you come from the south if you are going to do it that way.... and only post pictures of the sunset (no moons)!

I have a non-geocaching question but I figure a few of you may be able to give suggestions.... I have to take an online traffic school class. I was wondering if anyone has taken one recently and can recommend a good one to go with?

I was finally able to crash around midnight last night and got about 11 hours of sleep. My legs are pretty sore at this point. I am still trying to decide if I am going to go do any caches today.

Darn it. Somebody stole my idea Go for it! This was in NC! I don't know if they are harder to see on screen or if it was just hard. We had 11 relatives trying to "see" it and only 1, plus an e-mail to pqmon got it. of course there is also this cache from jahoadi and john..... I can never see those things though.

The helicopter circled a few times lighting up the group hiking down from the main peak and then the group at the top. Then they left and we never saw them again. It helped with visibility for the few minutes they did it. Toby's Gang and I were the last ones off the mountain at about 5:15am. It was just starting to get light out as we got to the cars.

My frickin back won't let me go this time either. If you don't have water polo on Saturday then you can meet up with us. We are going to hit some puzzles and caches around the La Jolla area. Cant do the mountain, but the La Jolla sounds good. What time are you thinking Patrick? I have been pushing them for 10am. I would like to get some sleep and have a shower after friday night's event. I still may require a wakeup phone call though.

It looks like that cache is missing at the moment. 2 people mentioned looking where it should be. It looks like the owners are not local so it will probably be archived unless someone wants to replace it for them? and it was an easy find.

Great. I have to check to see when it gets dark. I think we'll be coming from opposite directions ( we'll come from the Jamul side of PVR) so we'll probably need to meet at the cache coords to park. more later, jl Sunset is 7:57 or so . Let's meet at 8:00 pm. If we have to wait a few minutes for it be be "dark enough" that's ok. looks like I won't make it. We just got home from the afternoon at the beach and are just pulling out the BBQ.

I'll have to see if Rogue will let me out tonight. I expect it won't get dark till around 8.

It remains to be seen if we can dive that deep... We are not taking a kayak (even though we have one). The swim isn't that far... It looks like I was more worn out than I thought I was. I ended up sleeping in so I didn't make it. I guess I will have to find someone else to retrieve that cache for me.

soo, will your bring up the log for those of us who can't dive that far? I may need to show up. Should I bring the kayak? I only have a 2 person kayak.

did you get any pictures of the "loverbirds" for the cache critters thread?

Can't say I have run into that during the day but I have run into it a few times at night down by the ocean/bay.
