  1. Yep, "the service is unavalaible" is shown when one wants to see a picture
  2. Well, I did another test, I've loaded a 1000 caches GPX file, and i'm intrigued to say that it has succesfully loaded ... I'm lost at the boulangerie (as we say here ).
  3. Thanks Red90, i did it of course, i tried every ways possible. I loaded, nothing, i deleted, emptied the trash, i turned it on, (even waited for a fix), turned it off, put the gpx file back in, turned it on, nothing. I tried several times. Then i loaded a smaller gpx file (around 50 caches), there all are visible. I thought i got a lucky file that would make every other file as it "unblocked" the device, no, nothing of the second gpx showed. Then Gushoneybun replied to the topic, i tried to make smaller gpx files (which individually added make the "big" one that doesn't work, around 700 caches), 3 gpx files of around 200 caches each, and every caches are shown. The solution, that i'm afraid is "rickety", is to load gpx file of arund 200 caches. ( i don't want to try more caches in a file as i don't want to break the luck )
  4. Oh jeez, I bought an officially bugged device :s Thanks for the explanation though I'm sad to read that there finally is nothing you can do...
  5. Ok then, I'm ready to format the GPSr as soon as I put the hand on the firmware updater. I wonder how it came corrupted?
  6. I found out that if I load an old pocket query GPX (october 2011), that works. Has there been any change in the file format over there at Groundspeak side? EDIT: has a possible change been done since you can put the corrected coordinates at a cache detail? (unknown/mystery cache)
  7. Hello y'all All of a sudden I'm facing a problem that is my garmin colorado 300 doesnt show the geocaches i load (GPX file from a pocket query). When i access the geocache menu on the device, it simply says "No results". I didnt change anything (as i remember) and i always copy/paste/replace the file into the GPX folder. The device has the latest firmware, and everything is properly in place. I just don't understand why. Maybe a hint : it does show the cache i send individually from the cache page over at geocaching.com innit strange ? Any clue? i'm very clueless on this one, thanks
  8. Climbed up a cliff thinking the cache was in the middle of it. Since there's no elevation in the cache description i wrongly assumed it was there because an area sort of matched the hint . The cache actually was at the top, near a nice and family place to do a picnic. Took a helluva time to go down the cliff since i vertigo owns me. It's always easy to climb, that's another story to go down.
  9. Some weeks ago, i found a (if you see what i mean, prolly NSFC) . What a surprise, since the geocaching activity is a lot a family activity i took it out the box and replaced it with a small plastic princess. I had a laugh though, i wasn't expecting finding this kind of thing in a box some day.
  10. Item in great condition, only a few small scratches on the rubber in the back of the device. Benn using it for 3 months (bought it new at US$80). The item is located in France and I'll ship anywhere the postmen would go Would ask US$50 plus shiping. The package includes the GPSr (of course ), the SERIAL cable, a SERIAL to USB cable, the manual etc.
  11. Hello, Just played my first game and completed it, wrote down the unlock but i mistyped it and i can't unlock the cartridge on the website. So i went back to the app (it has told me before that i would be able to return and see the results and the unlock code) and it only ask me to start a new game or cancel. i didn't chose any "cancel" button the first time. So i just can't unlock it. Moreover there's no .GWS in my folder. What could i do (excepting doing the game once more, which took me 3 days...)?
