On October 12, El Buscador was taken, at 77 years he had a full life. The last couple where a bit rough do to COPD. He was my older brother, over the years we where not all that close, untill I got him into caching in 2004.............Do a cache for him (El Buscado) Thanks GIDEON-X Yuma, AZ

Check the spec's for any of the handhelds used by cachers, (accuracy with in 15 meters).... I use a 255W in my rig, and it reads in ft. I don't use the Pedrestrain mode, but I do use the off-road mode still reads in ft. I have captured several caches with it and not having to break out one of my hand helds....

Here in the Desert-Southwest, it's a year round thing (October Thru June) are the cool months (July Thru September) are the hot months. During the Hot time one just slows down a bit, get out at first light, get done by noon, perhaps a few evening hours.........

Hi Yes I have found a few caches in "Trash Dumps" some just plain nasty, others just so-so. One of my latest caches is in what one may consider a DUMP........I posted a pic and a note if trash upsets you don't go / do!! (a personal choice) Ditch-Banker's Lair

Goto one of the hider's caches, click other caches hidden by this user (you'll find this along the left side of the page, with a lot of other options) True download one page at a time, I download them to a folder on my Desktop, open / load them with EasyGPS..........Bookmarks work....but

"HTML" is the answer, this is a easy code to use (after one has done a few pages) Get a cheat sheet to help you along. One of my newest (Ditch-Banker's---Lair has several pic's on the cache page. Which Palm are you using for paperless?

Myself I've used the Palm m500, for several years, dropped it many times, got it wet, sort of cooked it (left it in my tracker for a few days) Yuma,AZ @ 117 deg. replaced one battery ($7.95) Works with XP on the PC and Vista on my laptop (USB connect on both) Got 2 of them for around $25 ea. on ebay -
