Ya'all will be happy to know that I sell Tupperware. Really!
Also, that picture above is not of Tupperware. That is some other sort of container. I speak from experience.

I have been privately accused of being Mitsuko. I find that interesting since I have been quite the opposite of active on these forums. Nevertheless, I read all about it in the chat last night and therefore I join in the fun.

PS I have a strong suspicion as to her identity, even though it isn't me.

I like the airport idea even more. I could help with that, as I work for the City of San Jose which maintains and operates the San Jose International Airport. I could find a place there or nearby that would work.
Kind of a bug cache I guess.

Well, I think it's a valid question. My first find was this one:
http://www.geocaching.com/mark/details.asp?PID=HS2960
It was covered with dirt, and not even readable. I had no water (think suburban setting) but I did have baby wipes so I cleaned it with one of those.
Brasso is a grand idea. Even Windex.

I'd like to see them included in our finds. Only so I can go back and look at them again, or people can see what I've found.
I found my first three today. Three more, I couldn't find. The instructions were rather complicated in cryptic so it could just be my mushy brain.

Speaking as a municipal employee...
A while back our City renumbered all of the light poles. This is likely to happen with utility poles as well. I would not depend on old information regarding this type of thing.
Keep searching, though! I looked for six today and found three. They were smaller than I expected.

I was unable to find any of the three that I went looking for. The last time that they were located was 1964. The weird part is that two of the locations referenced utility poll numbers as a benchmark. I used the descriptions and checked all the utility poles in the area. I'm just not having any luck. I'm thinking about contacting the local utility company and seeing if I can get utility pole maps out of them. Does that sound reasonable to anyone?
