We would probably get 25% of the cachers' in the hospital with sprained ankles or busted knees and someone would then have to maintain their caches for them. Another 25% would claim a workmans comp claim and so the business world would slow down to a crawl and the dollar stores would have to file for bankruptcy. The other 50% would spill their beer which would make the brewery stocks shoot thru the roof because of increased demand for their product. If you fly like an Eagle the Turkeys don't bug you!!!

I have adopted a cache cause I was closer and others in the area were having trouble locating it. It seems like in my area we all look out for each others caches and do what's needed without being asked. Logscaler is one of the best examples someone could have for a cache nanny. If people would quit having the attitude of "It's not mine so tough" (and not just in cacheing) the world would be a cleaner, happier place. If you fly like an Eagle the Turkeys don't bug you!!!

How about if Jeremy was to have an area on the "cache application" where we had to post the final coords of a multi. This info would not be shown once the cache was approved but allowed the admins/approvers to see where the final is located. This would solve many problems I've seen with multis. I've seen the final placement at railroad tresels, national parks, and fragile environments (places caches aren't supposed to be at). People are using the multi cache option to by-pass the guidelines/rules. If you fly like an Eagle the Turkeys don't bug you!!!

While working the other day I picked up a scrap of garbage to throw away and discovered it was a Postage stamp celebrating the 150th birtday of the Coast and Geodetic Survey. It only has the corner of the envelope with no postmark date so not sure when it was released. The strange thing it was laying about 15 feet from a benchmark. Both Wheels and Aloha have been located. And the cheat for Marine says "Take A Rope or A bike it is a Great View!" and viewing a topo of the area it looks like it could have access from the top of the cliffs via trails or off road biking. They/he was probably out on one last day of freedom and fun with is buddies and wanted to hit as many caches as he could before leaving for what could be a very long time. If it was me I would just do a short hello note in the logs and then off to the next one. The same goes with his logs on the web pages, it's alot faster to write once and paste many times than to write an individual note for each find.
