'Sync" is the word VantagePoint used (I followed the directions in the device manual). I have a Magellan eXplorist GC. I will go back and see if I notice anything like what you described. Thank you.

I logged them on my Magellan eXplorist GC. Supposedly They're supposed to transfer right over (I followed the instructions with the device). They are there, but my profile only shows 4 finds (there should be about 19 or so), and shows a box that says I have some pending. When I click the link, there they all are... Just not where they're supposed to be!

It's been about 7 hours since I synced my GPS and uploaded my finds from the weekend. They are listed as "Pending." I am assuming this is normal, but how long does it take for them to post? Did I do something wrong? Is there a glitch? Or does it just take a really long time? I have searched the site, but have not found any information about this. Thank you!

I am a new geocacher looking for a simple, inexpensive GPS unit to get me started. Do either of these fit this description?
