  1. On the other hand, there are also cases in which the cache is most likely no longer on site, but the algorithm does not intervene. Example: https://coord.info/GC1YVM9. A not so easy mystery, but a standard hiding place. CHS apparently assumes with a D4 mystery that the difficulty relates to the search on site, so even after 5 DNF and no find within 2 1/2 years, nothing happens.
  2. Are you still aware and is there any hope you find a fix? Maybe in 2023?
  3. It still doesn't work. Yes patience, I know. But how long?
  4. Yes, but it would be much better if you could include clickable links as well. It would be nice if the AL Builder would be improved in this point as well.
  5. I think it is not possible to insert a link in the AL description. The FAQ says: " 5. Can I use HTML or other formatting to create my Adventure in the web builder? Not at this time. The Adventure Lab web builder does not support special formatting."
  6. That's right. But I was just surprised how obviously - against the rules - the virtual way is chosen here by everyone. Anyone who completes the ALC "honestly" must feel a little bit fooled.
  7. There is a new ALC in Munich "DEL Standorte in Bayern" (https://adventurelab.page.link/f7Ue) , whose five stations are venues of the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) in Bavaria. The stations are in Munich, Nuremberg, Augsburg, Straubing and Ingolstadt, i.e. many kilometers apart. Nevertheless, the time apparently calculated from the initial "findings" is given as "0-30 min". Apparently, all previous "finders" of the ALC have not visited the stations, but used GPS fake. Amazing that this is also expressed in the logs ("virtual trip" etc."). I always thought ALC should be designed to actually visit the stations. Is this OK or against the guidelines?
  10. I had the same problem yesterday. I logged out and back in, then it worked again.
  11. I use the app-version 1.3.12; build:2426 with an android device. The completed ALC, that is shown as uncompleted and where I'm not able to write a log entry is "Der Südpark" in Munich: The ALC, that is shown as "completed, although I've visited only one stage, is "Paderborns Graffiti Suche":
  12. Maybe someone from Groundspeak can comment if this is a known bug of the app.
  13. I had the same problem last week. Already after the first stage of a five-stages Adventure Lab, it was displayed as completed and the possibility to write a log entry was opened. With another ALC I have the problem that I have completed all stages, but no possibility to write a log entry. This ALC is shown as not completed. I have not seen a way to change this. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks a lot.
  14. So you can pay an have a private commercial ALC?
  15. In Munich, Germany, 3 ALCs with a total of 30 stages were recently published in the Olympiapark by a cacher named "Geogeheimnisträger". Shortly afterwards these ALCs had disappeared again. This cacher is apparently known for combining geocaching with commercial interests - apparently in connection with Groundspeak. How is that possible and why don't the usual rules (no commerce, maximum 5 stages) don't apply to everyone?
  16. The search was not very hard . A really cool thing. I'm excited to see the the true calibration image.
  17. Und zu "heben" ( = nach oben, in die Höhe bewegen) gibt es bei den Adventure Labs normalerweise ja auch wenig .
  18. Interesting would be an "official" statement from Groundspeak about the direction in which the development should continue. Unlimited permission to put ALs for everyone? Or an "upper limit" at least for certain areas?
  19. Here in the city center of Munich, Germany a new AL has popped up today, where you can make 5 points in 2 minutes. Brave new world.
