  4. Whoa, that is especially impressive, in comparison to other agencies that would choose to eliminate alternative activites on the lands they manage.
  5. Drop your Geko 201's! A show on tuperware is running right now on KQED.

  9. Goodness, you've already done _the_ hike, Ohlone. Coe is a very good suggestion. Back in the day, George of georegeandmary rode mtn bike extensively there; he mentioned Mississippi Lake. May be hot, and they have those pesky mountain lions. Skyline to the Sea trail is cooler right now. Way east, ChuGuy has some caches near Emigrant Wilderness; 20 miles in and out.
  10. Congrats on the 1K, Bob. Way to cache!
  11. Maybe putting a face to things helps. Geocachers SBUX, CCCooper, and Mtn-man. So I'm 2000 miles away from home, pushing through the underbrush towards a still unseen cache, and who do I come across? Just the top cache finder on the planet.
  12. 242 by another crew, at Geo-Woodstock in Nashville, last weekend.
  13. My Specialized Rockhopper with a R.S. Duke XC fork, alas, stolen. The memory lives on as lock keys: travel bug Stolen Bike.
  14. We had a good time in Nashville! Can't say enough good things about the weekend. Thanks for the invite, JoGPS! Met all the megacachers. Grabbed 185-190 in 17 hours of hunting, due to the heroic efforts of Mosestron and GrannyLani. 300 on the weekend gives me a backlog of 400 (!). It will give me a chance to rest my blown out kneecaps.
  15. Some snakes are purdy. Baby mountain king snake:
  16. 19. Hey Pepper, hope to catch you. I'm going to be at the Portland caching thingy this weekend, so maybe I'll see y'all.
  20. Moving cache Giants Game GCD118 has left Es Effo Bug Hotel, for a 6/23 date at SBC PacBell Park.
  21. Moving cache GCD118 Going to a Giants Game is waiting wishfully at GCBC09 Es Effo Bug Hotel in Millbrae. The cache also contains a travel bug, ironically called Moving Cache. Will a fan please take the logbook and some contents to a game?
  22. GIANTS FANS: The moving traveling cache "Going to a Giants Game" needs to go to a Giants game. Please contact me if you are going to the next homestand series. Otherwise, I'll probably place it at Es Effo, prior to this weekend.
