  1. I feel sorry for the animals scared
  2. Maybe we should have a Calgary geocache relief fund because let's face it there's not going to be that many left :0.. could make a good coin my geocache survived the flood if you find your cache....
  3. Me and my dad go and geocache together
  4. Sometimes my phone will get a notification but my email won't or the other way around. Or they both get different ones or sometimes I don't get anything. Or both will get the same depends that day
  5. I use lock and locks to eat at home
  6. The whole newbie thing is old if you hide a cache and you've only found one or a thousand makes no difference the one with the experience can put out a garbage cache just as easy as the new people.
  7. I don't even bother with puzzle caches I've showed them to friends family people I hardly know . we both so there shaking our heads saying OK.... Sure ...I'll do that when all the caches on this island are gone than maybe puzzle caches.
  8. It might not be so bad if those 30-50 caches found had 30-50 cache owners, but posting the same log on 20 caches all owned by the same owner would get pretty annoying. I post the same log I mean same day same events
  9. . I like the log book when you get there and write in it instead of online
  10. Could not stop laughing when I read this. No an example is an area we have that has hag nanos. We went to each nano now these are in the forest and you have to hike to them. They were all soggy messes and after about the fourth one finding a blood tube gets old fast.
  11. I am going to enjoy the first one far more than the second. In fact, the second one would actually detract from my experience, not enhance it. That is so true! A number of times I've enjoyed a nice walk on a lovely day, anticipating a nice cache at the end of it, only to find a soggy pill jar under a pile of rocks, with a crushed, moist and tattered logsheet inside, that was listed as a small rather then a micro. It sours the experience. Or ruins a good spot who puts a nano in the forest that's made for containers
  12. I agree I have taken a few of my friends geocaching and I found a micro or two and they were like uh thought it was a container with stuff in it. I said no geocaching added a stupid container that's the size of my pinky. I prefer big containers over little if some one calls the bomb squad well welcome to a weird world

  14. I was thinking that to That's why I carry Rite-In-The-Rain paper and use it in many of my caches. It can get wet but stays useable. NG Adventure Paper is another option. Yeah but I go out and maintain my caches all five hope to have up to 15 soon.make sure the logs OK etc someone mentioned one of my caches had an issue it was dealt with with in a few days not ten years later.you should lose privileges to places caches if you don't maintain.
  15. I'm always at my caches adding new stuff I like getting the muggle cards cool foreign money.keychains,whistles. Any type of pins.
  16. I think its a fantastic idea we hid our first cache with not many caches. Just read the guidelines
  17. 1) still a bad container and a bad choice to put it there when you could have probably put a different one there 2) well thats a geocacher for ya 3) i understand that some geocachers can be very rude and negative 4) are you crazy? so you want a lump of c*ap sitting in a cache so when someone comes to it next just because its dry they can sign the lump that once was a log? If my log was wet and no one told me id be pissed off. the worse is when no one says anything ive been to a few caches where i look at the last log look at the cache look back again very confused as to why they could not have mentioned that there was a crack in it or that it was chewed or that the container was destroyed the log was wet and basically the cache turned into geo trash. but dont say anything thats ok 5)ive done that to im a pretty nice person and i probably ticked off a few people:P they wont go to my caches at all sucks for them no smiley face
  18. I wish he would have sent me that. How arrogant of him.if the logs went take it like a man and maybe that spots not good or the containers not good. Those magnetic ones I've come across a few and they have always been wet.
  19. my dad likes finding whistles or little compass that are different colors if that helps
  20. Frustration told someone there container was the broken for a year finally one day they decide to change it they change it to the same container they used that broke so my buddy just donated one for them a nice one. I even asked to adopt it so now I just watch it since its close by
  21. Geocachers and there insanity. How they take it way to serious and there side games
  22. Ya I know how ya feel but movings OK trying putting the cache back and the lid on I mean were all adults here and have a brain so if your in a kids park and you leave it exposed a kid will destroy or play with it. My cache in a park usually exposed
