Merry Christmas to you HighCountryAdmin. Thank you for all your hard work!

I resolve to place my first cache. Thanks for the contest.

This is why I have always retrieved activation codes and pass them along with the coin. It has taken more time and effort but I am glad I took the time to do it. I don't think activated coins will be worth more but what about coins that have the activation code sent with them?

Email sent. Thanks for making these available. Good luck!

Awesome coin! Being from Colorado it's a must have for me. Greg

Purple would be my choice. Thanks Tsun. -
It would be an advantage, but the time stamps on your posts show that they were both posted on Oct 29...I'll consider this your get out of jail free card! Thanks, I was using Groundspeak time. Too confusing for me. If this causes any problems I'll take the disqualification if one of my answers were correct. Greg

Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.: One advantage to being up this late is you get two guesses within 11 minutes of each other

Pictures from Lake Pend Oreille, Idaho. We used a boat to find two caches on opposite sides of the lake. Clear water and flat rocks make the shore line: The Statue of Liberty in Sandpoint Idaho???: An old root ball: A great way to go caching!!!! Fun between caches:

Here are some pictures from two caches we found this summer. Double Rainbow: Amazing Bull Elk: A quick Thief: I about had a heart attack when I ran into this guy five feet away: Took a boat across the lake to get to the cache. It's located between the peaks: A waterfall on the hike to the cache: The view from the cache looking west: The view from the cache looking east:

Trade two sets of un-activated tags for one of yours?
Roaring_Fork replied to Roaring_Fork's topic in Trackables
Thank you to everyone who sent offers! Heather made her decision after a lot of deliberation. Who would have thought this would have been such a difficult decision to make. Thanks again and we hope to see you all caching some day. Greg -
Trade two sets of un-activated tags for one of yours?
Roaring_Fork replied to Roaring_Fork's topic in Trackables
Thank you to everyone who has sent tag numbers for us to consider. I have narrowed down the tags to a couple I like. This has been a very difficult decision and I want to make sure there are no other offers out there. Please send any additional tag numbers and I'll make my decision tomorrow. Thanks for all your help, Heather -
Here is my back country caching vehicle. It's not a 4X4 but a 525CC 2X1 It gets me to any back country cache in 1/4 the time it takes you 4 wheelers. The cache is down by the lake: The cache is above my bike. These pictures were taken on the Flattops of Colorado. It was a 65 mile round trip to get two caches. If you look close my GPS is on the gas tank. Good luck with the job and good luck to all entrants. I love seeing the pictures. Greg Thanks for the help FC

Trade two sets of un-activated tags for one of yours?
Roaring_Fork replied to Roaring_Fork's topic in Trackables
Please send yours. The ultimate decision in this endeavor is up to my wife. She proposed the idea and has not seen the offers yet. We work opposite night sifts and we will see each other tomorrow night. I want to provide her as many choices as possible. Thanks, Greg Sounds cool. I have a few available but it looks like you are getting plenty of responses already. Like I said, I didn't want any surprises ruining the fun. Ya never know if a poster knows about those little getchas. Happy Caching! -
Missed out. Congrats to the winners. Guess - #20

I have placed vinyl stickers on the outside of my window with the heating elements under them. I have not encountered a problem. It might pose a problem if you use an inside mount sticker that goes directly on the elements. Greg

Trade two sets of un-activated tags for one of yours?
Roaring_Fork replied to Roaring_Fork's topic in Trackables
Thanks for the info BlueDeuce. I have purchased two sets of dog tags to trade and am looking to trade for one set with a GREAT tracking number. After the trade I will get personalized license plates, make a window sticker and keep the tags with me. Greg I have no doubt you can get a sticker for a TB you already own, but for the average consumer purchasing a new bug number I would strongly recommend you get the metal dogtags along with your purchase. Perhaps once numbers are sold for less than full tag price... -

Eartha, Can you use coins tracking numbers for the purpose of making my truck trackable? I thought the coins number was for that coin only. Thanks, Greg -

Thanks for your response. I forgot to add that I'm looking for travel bugs that spell something or have Q's, V's, X's or Z's in the tag number. The more the better. I guess uniqueness is in the eye of the beholder (me). Please contact me with your offers. Thanks, Greg
