  1. Why not use the arrow? That's what it's for.
  2. That's too bad it's affecting the cache hider in a negative way. People here can post all they want about "just let it go", but when someone picks on your hard work or messes it up it's annoying.

    Russian? Turkish?
  4. No surgery for me, just a busy non-geocaching weekend. No special icon for 9Key.
  5. Each to his own. I prefer caches out in the woods. Snakes and bugs don't bother me and I'm not allergic to PI. Walking through a spider web still irks me though.
  6. A friend of mine carries a little spray bottle of a 50/50 solution of water and rubbing alcohol and sprays himself down after each cache where he might have been in the PI. He swears by it. If you break out all over your body suck it up and go to the doctor for a steriod shot and some prednisone tablets. It'll really knock it out!
  7. Probably a small, but be sure to come up with a way for cachers to easily extract the log. Welcome to the game, fellow Texan!
  8. Regardless, black eyed peas ARE beans. Only Fergie and Will.i.am know for sure. If you didn't do that line I was going to.
  9. Why not make it web-based? That way it's multi-platform (works on a Mac) and you could use the multi-language threading in .Net.
  10. You can get a good, used Garmin etrex model on ebay for around $50. Also keep in mind that once you place a cache you must maintain it. Waiting a few months to see if you stick with the hobby would be my suggestion.
  11. Bingo! Please don't bury caches!
  12. I believe you can request a new validation email be sent from that page. Try that.
  13. The Galapagos, although there aren't currently any caches there. Otherwise Australia, New Zealand, UK.
  14. Apart from the GPS description isn't this a moving cache? They not allowed any more, or so I thought.
  15. Start with the easy ones and work your way up.
  16. Try Googling "Markwell Pocket queries. There's also a pinned topic in the Getting Started forum. I think the links are helpful. It points people in the right direction. Kit Fox is the master at that. It's called "Markwelling".
  17. Cool! A post from the originator on the 10th anniversary!
  18. I did get a Tweet 45 minutes ago saying the site would be down. I was looking forward to checking out the new Lost and Found events.
  19. I might suggest switching out the container for an ammo can or a Lock n Lock. Those stay dry. Good job though!
  20. Liquids are not a good idea in a cache. They leak and ruin the cache.
  21. I laminate mine and use double sided foam tape to attach the note.
