I really want to get started in this new adventure, but haven't purchased my GPS yet..trying to get the biggest Bang for my bucks, If I end up buying Meridian Gold,can I incorporate my laptop and Microsoft Map Point somehow? or do I need to buy Mapsend etc. I don't want to limit the GPS ONLY for Geocaching after passing out the bucks..gotta show the "BETTER HALF" it was worth the $$$ so want to impress her of ALL the different uses!!!! What all is possible when you unite the Laptop & GPS? Already have the compass & maps but NOT the knowledge, so fixin to make the GPS purchase soon!

One last question, then I will get out of your hair for awhile..Everything I read about the Gold leads me to believe that it was like their latest series and is just now shipping on the market...How long ago did you buy it? Is it the newest version? and another thing how to pay you..know nothing about paypal or whatever it is...Don't get me wrong I have trust in your honesty about the condition and all..I GOT TO CONVINCE MY WIFE ITS ALRIGHT TO BUY OVER INTERNET!!!!!

what is your biggest complaint concerning this unit for GeoCaching or anything else..I am interested in knowing for reference as to what to buy..any help or advice about this unit appreciated..how long did you own it? Thanx HillBillyBiker

I am about to purchase the Meridian Gold ..I THINK! with so many units to choose from I'm still not sure..anyway, anyone have anything BAD to say about it? Mostly interested in Geocaching to start but want capabilities for future use with other things, so memory stick upgrades are an advantage here...also a question from my son on mounting a unit on his mountain bike (bicycle) for trail riding...how big a concern is vibration with any of these GPS units? I travel by motorcycle so no worry there for me but the mountain biking gets kind of rough! any help appreciated..Thanx
