  1. Dear coin enthusiasts, To teach my son on the value of money, I've "sold" him a Delft Blue Geocoin from the Tulp series - for €12,50 - to put on Ebay. If you were not lucky in the Surprise Raffle a few months ago, you can find this coin following the link below. Don't bid too much though; he'll be spending your money on either a Raspberry Pi or LEGO... Cheers, Bastiaan + son Sale ends: 02 feb 2015 21:20:44 CET Link to facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DelftBlueGeocoins Link to Ebay: http://www.ebay.nl/itm/141554955085?ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

  5. Dear all, On sale is a set of three authentic porcelain geocoins with Dutch Delft Blue artwork made in collaboration with Frans Ottink, a Dutch porcelain artist. Each coin is handmade and numbered. Each series was limited to a maximum of 125 coins. The coins are trackable with an own icon (artwork by "fox-and-the-hound"). The set on offer is numbered (#30) and comprising a klomp, trapgevel and tulp. The coins have not been activated. As most of you know; almost everything about these coins are a little different to usual coins, from the material it’s made of, the coin bags and even the activation cards are just a bit different (all handmade). This set will be shipped 'registered' anywhere (for free) and with a small surprise. The reason for sale now; my kids both have a complete set, so no reason to keep these to myself. Hopefully someone is able to complete his or her set. Kind regards, Bastiaan (Landcruiser Team) PS. about 19 hours left (until May 03, 2013 08:17:50 PDT) - Ebay page
  6. Dear all, After producing 4 series and withholding a few coins from each series for personal use, I've got only one complete set for sale (the other two are for both my children and will never be sold ;-) The set consists of a windmolen (56), klomp (125), trapgevel (120) and tulp (120). This is the first sale of a complete set of the four authentic porcelain geocoins with Dutch Delft Blue artwork made in collaboration with Frans Ottink; an acquainted professional porcelain artist. Each coin is handmade and numbered. Each series is limited to a maximum of 125 coins. The coins are trackable with an own icon (artwork by "fox-and-the-hound"). All coins are unactivated. Thanks to Frans the coin has become a piece of art as well and is now on the wish list of many geocoin collectors. So; if you like our work, this is probably an exceptional opportunity to be able to get the whole set at once. Cheers, Bas PS. 9. Wauw; some coins have been travelling fast this year! We appreciate your pics and comments; thanks. Bastiaan
  10. Coins are also going to Norway and Canada ;-) Cheers, Bas
  11. Dear all, A couple of weeks ago, we announced the sale of the 4th series Delft Blue geocoin. After reading the comments on the forum, we decided against having the sale on Ebay and rather use an e-mail reservation system. The instructions are straightforward and should be followed accordingly: 1. send us an e-mail before June 15th 22:00 hours Central European Time (CET). 2. our e-mail address is delft.blue.series@gmail.com 3. the subject should be: request for 4th series 4. the e-mail content should only consist of: 1st line: your real name 2nd line: your geocaching name 3rd and 4th line: your address 5. if you want your coin to be sent by registered mail, please add: 5th line: registered mail Sale details: price 29,95 euro including worldwide shipping, excluding registered mail (if applicable) sale is limited to 1 coin per person. If there are more requests than coins to be sold, we give everyone a unique number. With the help of the random integer set generator at www.random.org we than decide who gets a coin. Invoices will be sent through PayPal. Last but not least; we keep everyone updated via Twitter.
  12. As I recall, this is how Tsun sold her coins before she had a webstore. She still does it this way for select coins... such as her Petroglyph Earth Turtle. (here is the thread) Thanx
  13. Any examples of coins being sold this way? "a reservation system in the forums where people fill out a form or submit an email. Then they get billed later on." iPhone does not come in handy to read/reply on a forum ;-)
  14. We discussed your suggestion months ago but we were worried about the lack of transparancy Ps. Nothing wrong with us ;-) just a bit worried about the 4th sale after a couple of problems during second and third sale Grtz. Bas
  15. small test to determine the timezone of the timestamp used for posts (and see who actually was the first to guess trapgevel)
  16. have you sent an e-mail yet? It's undoable to tackle issues's via the forums. grtz, Landcruiser Team delft.blue.series@gmail.com
  17. Sold out within 2 minutes... website could barely handle you all ;-) and remember; we are not liable for broken F5 keys
  18. Procedure update for serial number requests: use delft.blue.series@gmail.com in stead of a Twitter - Direct Message put "Request" in the header and transaction- & serial number in the body of your e-mail Thanx!
  19. I believe they said 125 again - same as the first two coins. Calgary, Alberta is -8 hours from CET, so it is going to be a high noon shoot out with the F5 Key Good luck to all. 125 is correct (for all 4 series) grtz, Bastiaan
  20. Procedure: Everyone who gets hands on a "trapgevel" can send us a Twitter - Direct Message with [transaction #] [preferred serial #] TimeZone 20:00 hours, Saturday January 30th, 2010 in GMT+1 (Europe/Amsterdam) converts to 14:00 Saturday January 30th, 2010 in EST 20:00 hours, Saturday January 30th, 2010 in GMT+1 (Europe/Amsterdam) converts to 06:00 Sunday January 31st, 2010 in Australia/Melbourne
  21. Bambi & Thumper, Thank you for your compliment, we are sorry for the fact that everyone had to wait such a long time but it gave us a change to learn a lot about coin making. The design for the second series has already started, but it will not be announced / for sale before we've actually made about 75% of the coins. To thank all the buyers for their patience, we will raffle one special porcelain coin (untrackable). The exact details will be mailed to you in the next few weeks. PS. to prepare yourself for the raffle, you may want to start thinking about the possible (typical Dutch) theme of the next series... Thanks again! ZAteam & Landcruiser Team
