  1. Yes, these are still available. Send me an e-mail with your order information (see earlier post).
  2. All invoices have now been sent, with the exception of a few who are on a waiting list for AC or AS. International orders will be shipped by First Class International mail to keep costs down. No tracking on these, so hopefully this will not blow up in my face! I probably won't ship until Friday or Saturday at the earliest. It would be helpful (and stress reducing ) if those of you with international destinations would send me a reply once your coins finally arrive. Also, thanks to all of you who have received your coins and taken the time to post or send me a word of encouragement. I still have the ACL finish available! See my earlier post about sending me a reservation if you want some.
  3. You might be on my waiting list for the AS or AC? If so, I haven't sent your invoice yet. I'll check up on it when I get home later today.
  4. Invoices are still going out, so don't panic if you haven't received yours yet! For some of you, I am waiting to send your invoice because you are on the wait list for AS or AC. Also, I have not yet invoiced any of the international orders. I hope to do that in the next couple days.
  5. I still have a number of the ACL (Antique copper light) available!
  6. Invoices for international deliveries will go out later this week. I've got orders from Canada, UK, Norway, Germany, Sweden, and Netherlands. For those of you from these countries, is there anything special (forms or information) that needs to accompany the package other than the customs form?
  7. Invoices are going out today for most people. Some of you are on a waiting list for AS or AC, so I will hold off a little on your orders to see if anything frees up. I still have plenty of the ACL finish available for those of you who missed out on the AC and AS finish. If you get your invoice and want to add any ACL, send me a message and I can revise your invoice.
  8. Although they are not available at this time, I thought some of you might enjoy a peek of the Antique Gold and Black Nickel LEs.
  9. Finally! The replacement coins have arrived. Here are pictures of the Antique Copper (AC) done with the correct colors. I will also now take reservations for the ACL coins, which are Antique Copper with the lighter color. For reference, here is the picture for the ACL: There are 40 ACL available. Anyone may place a reservation, even if you have an existing reservation for the other finishes. Once the 40 are gone I will start sending out invoices. Price: $8.50 each (Antique Copper Light) Send to: slotrekker@charter.net INFORMATION NEEDED FOR RESERVATION: Your Name: Your Geocaching Name: Your Country: Paypal e-mail for billing: Contact e-mail (one you check often): # of ACL coins you would like to reserve:
  10. The replaced AS have come in, but we are still waiting for the AC. I am hoping this week or early next week. A few invoices went out for those people who did not want the AC. I will probably begin taking reservations for the ACL sometime this weekend.
  11. I have been looking into what is involved in shipping coins outside the US. Assuming PayPal was used for the transaction, then it really is essential to have some sort of tracking or delivery confirmation. With international orders, this only seems to leave Express Mail International, Priority International Parcels (but no flat rate envelopes), or First Class International with registered mail service. All of these are very costly, resulting in shipping fees well over $10. What have people been doing for international shipping? Do you just send it low-cost and keep your fingers crossed? Do you require other forms of payment instead of PayPal (like money orders)? I can't even find cheap shipping with delivery confirmation or tracking to Canada! At least based on the USPS web site. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  12. I just tested a coin to check out the activation, and everything works great! Here is the icon:
  13. I know it must happen here and there, but given how long this project has already been in development, it would have been nice for this part of it to have gone smoothly. Fortunately Rusty has been very responsive with the issue and is getting it taken care of. He really has been great through this and has stood behind his work fully. Now if only the invoicing and shipping goes smoothly...
  14. I was going to post in the original thread, but it is an important announcement and I didn't want it overlooked by being buried in that thread.
  15. Correct, unless you tell me you want to change!
  16. Well, the coins are here! Unfortunately there were some problems with a number of the coins, so it will be another few weeks before I can start invoicing/shipping. A batch of the antique silver coins had enamel problems and need to be replaced. Also, ALL of the antique copper coins were made with one color incorrect. Somehow the color correction from PMS467 to PMS497 was overlooked, so they all have the yellowish color instead of the deep burgandy/brownish color as shown in the art work. It was an honst mistake, and Rusty offered to eat the cost of replacements since the error was not mine but I just coudn't stomach destroying 100 coins that are perfectly fine except for a color issue. As a result, there will be 350 coins now instead of 250 as originally planned. The additional finish is the antique copper "mistake", which I will designate as ACL (L for the lighter color). Since there were a lot of you interested in these coins who missed out, 40 of the ACL finish will be available for purchase later. Just to be clear, here are the numbers once again: Antique Gold - 25 (not available) Black Nickel - 50 (not available) Antique Silver (AS) - 75 (sold out) Antique Copper (AC) - 100 (sold out) Antique Copper (ACL) - 100 (40 available soon) Here are photos of the AS and ACL editions: For those of you who have coins reserved, I apologize for the last-minute change. It seemed like the best thing to do given the circumstances. I completely understand, though, that this may affect your original reservation. So, send me an e-mail (slotrekker@charter.net) if you would like to release your reservation or change the finishes you want. (After all, some of you may like the ACL better!) To be fair to others, no ADDITIONAL coins may be reserved yet. That is, the TOTAL number of coins reserved must stay the same or be less. Please submit any changes to me within one week. If any Antique Silver become available, I will give those of you currently on the waiting list first chance at them. Your reservation will remain the same unless I hear from you. Any switches involving the ACL edition will be first come, first served. Once the dust has settled, I will start a new thread for the additional 40 coins that will be available for purchase. It will be first come, first served. If you missed out earlier, this will be your opportunity to get in on these coins. I regret this may make a few of you unhappy, but please keep in mind this is my very first coin, and I am doing the best I can given NO prior experience!
  17. All coins have been reserved! Sorry for those of you who missed out. I guess next time I will have to consider a larger minting!
  18. Sorry some replies to e-mails were slow in coming, but we were all out enjoying the great weather in California and did some geocaching! Only 2 Antique Copper left!
  19. There are still some antique copper left, so it is not too late to get in on this coin! Thanks to everyone for the kind comments and encouraging words. This is my first time through all of this, so all the support/patience is very much appreciated!
  20. Antique silver are all spoken for now. Still have the antique copper finish. Let me know if you want to be placed on a waiting list for antique silver just in case some antique silver become available after invoicing.
  21. Announcing my very first geocoin! Probably last 2007 coin of the year; I had hoped to have these much sooner, but a number of delays kept pushing the production date back. This project was actually started last spring, so it is very much a 2007 coin even though we are hours away from 2008. NOW TAKING RESERVATIONS (NO MONEY AT THIS TIME, PLEASE) I should have the coins any day. I was notified that they have arrived from the mint and are on their way to me. After they arrive and I make sure everything is okay, I will begin sending out invoices through PayPal. These are 1.75" 3.5mm coins in the shape of a hiking boot. The top of the boot is done in imitation hard enamel, and the tread side contains my geocaching name as part of the tread design. The coins are trackable with serial numbers, and will have their own icon. There are two finishes: antique copper (100) and antique silver (75). Two additional finishes (Antique Gold (25) and Black Nickel (50)) were produced, but are reserved for my personal use. As this coin is specific to 2007, no additional mintings will be produced for this design so make sure to get your reservation in if you would like some of these coins! Antique Copper (note: PMS467 should be PMS497 - the color is right, but the number is wrong) Antique Silver (note: Warm Gray 6 was changed to Cool Grey 3) Price: $8.50 each (Antique Copper, Antique Silver) Send to: slotrekker@charter.net INFORMATION NEEDED FOR RESERVATION: Your Name: Your Geocaching Name: Your Country: Paypal e-mail for billing: Contact e-mail (one you check often): # of coins you would like to reserve Antique Copper Edition (AC): Antique Silver Edition (AS): (Wait list only) Coins will be sent in bubble mailers, and I will have more specific shipping costs once the coins and mailers arrive. I will post actual photos once they arrive.
  22. I would like to see this bug fixed as a priority. There are more than just "cosmetic" problems. I recently made some changes to one of my bookmark lists, and I could never get to the last page no matter what I tried. It would also be nice to have it possible to see which caches I have already found when viewing the list, without having to generate a query.
  23. Ditto that (minus the log book, of course). Some caches may have items placed in it by the owner that are not meant to be taken (like geocoins that are permanently attached), but anything placed in the cache by another finder is fair game as a trade item.
