The original issue -- dropdown menus not working correctly -- was a problem with Internet Explorer 11. Compatibility View settings in IE11 TOOLS "fixed" the Waymarking and several other websites.

Is there a way to edit an incorrectly typed caption or description in a photo that has been submitted?

For me it is not a workaround... it is my normal way, that way I only have know the category name and not where it is in the directory structure. Go to the waymark page. On right side under Waymark options the bottom link should be "Delete Waymark" with a red X For waymarks that I have submitted and that have been approved there is the option to archive. For an uncategorized [and where I can't add the category] waymark that has not been submitted, the menu with an option to archive does not appear.

Thanks for the workaround. Is there a way to delete a log that has not been submitted for approval?

This just worked fine for me. However if isn't for you and you are posting a new waymark just go to the Public Land Survey Marks category and you can then just click the link on the right side of page "Post New Waymark". As you are on category page it will be created in that category.

I am trying to log a Public Land Survey System corner. When I select the general category "Measurement Standards", no new dropdown menu appears; usually I get to select "Public Land Survey Marks". The menu worked fine on Tuesday night; not on Wednesday morning or now. Any advice?
