  2. I downloaded geosphere last night, and am stunned by how powerful and easy it is. I recommend it to anyone who caches with iPhone.
  3. I found the GSAK application after a little searching. I think that may be a good solution. Thanks, Wildman_5
  4. Hi everyone, I just ran my first pocket query in about 8 months, and noticed that the pocket book option (the text containing all of the cache descriptions, details, logs, and hints) was no longer included. Is this new? Is there an alternative? I found that to be the most useful part of the pocket queries, so I could collect the info on a number of caches in an area without killing trees. Do I have to resort to paper, or is there another option out there for offline (no internet connection) use? Thanks in advance, Wildman_5
  5. This past saturday, I was revelling in my newfound passion of geocaching...nevermind the pouring rain. I was dressed for the weather, but as I found my first cache, I realized that it would be unavoidable for some moisture to get into the cache when I opened it. I began to wonder to myself, is there some rule of etiquette that says "thou shalt not cache in the ridiculously pouring rain?" I also wondered if anyone had any tips on successfully opening, signing, and closing caches in bad weather. As a neocacher, all suggestions would be welcome.
