  3. Minor Bug Currently using version 53 and it appears that the new load summary is not centered on the screen. I am using 800*600 screen resolution and when the window is displayed I only just see the top 1/4 of it.
  4. It is intended to hold a SGDO on 28th January 2006 at Lauriston Farm, Edinburgh. The event is open to anyone but if you intend to come along can you please drop me an email so that I can get name badges made etc. Anyway, click on the link below for more details. 5. I just tried entering a path relative to the root and the macro ran and worked fine. Both seem to work ok for me. Another work around: If you keep the folder names the same on both computers, then just after the restore open up the GSAK.ini file in your favorite text editor and to a global replace on c:\ to e:\ or write a script that will do this for you. Thanks for the quick reply, both work fine on my PC as well but I think I will use the first suggestion as it is slightly more elegant and there is less risk of me messing up the ini file!
  6. I use the software on 2 machines, one has "program files" on c:\ and the other on E:\. The backup feature is great and I use this to make sure that GASC is the same on both machines. BUT. . . using macro buttons is a real pain for me as they appear to need a full path to run from. i.e. although my macros are always stored under \program files\gask\macros\... I cant set up the macro buttons as the path (drive letter) is different on each machine. Just to make things interesting, the 2nd PC does not have a C:\, only a E: drive, so I cant use a common directory to install the software under. Is there anyway that anyone can think of to get round this so that I can have one set of macro buttons? I have tried to only enter the macro name i.e. no path when setting up the button but that works OK if you run a macro manually first as GASK seems to remember the path but the next time you start the program you get an error saying no path. Hope someone can help.
  7. Given that a cache is shown as a nice green box whether is a massive ammo box, tupperware box, small cache, 35mm film canister or even a real small micro why are geocoins shown with different icons? They are only coins after all! Given that there are so many virtual coin icons about these days its in danger of turning into a bit of a farce. Surely Jeremy & friends should backtrack on this development and change the system to a single Icon. Better still, transfer them over to a new site specifically for those who want to collection icons rather than caches.
  8. Yipeeeee. . . . . . its fixed and all PQ's have now arrived.
  9. ran 3 yesterday and none in my inbox yet. send an email to those nice people at Groundspeak who said that it may be my isp (despite the fact that I have used 3 different ISP's with different email accounts) Glad I did a search as I was begining to thing that it was all my systems that had gone down the swanny......
  10. Thanks, link works a treat. much appreciated.
  11. When out finding a cache I usually take a print out. In the middle of a field its a bit difficult to hover the mouse over the paper so is there a list of cache attribute that I can printout and take with me? I have seen references to there being a list when adding attributes to your own cache, but as there are lots of new people who dont have a cache, could someone please tell me where I can get a full list of the existing symbols to make reading the cache details a bit easier. Thanks
  12. This was answered in an other forum There is a web page at the following address that has all the icons listed. http://www.asta-inc.com/geocache/attributes.html ___________________________________________________________ When out finding a cache I usually take a print out.
