I've always gotten the "preorder" e-mails from geoswag, but did not get one this time. I guess I'll just have to hope they minted ALOT of these and will have some available on the "regular" website later. Well, FORTUNATELY, I still had an old "preorder" e-mail from GEOSwaG in my inbox, and was able to use the link in there to get to the JEEPS! Ordered 3 of the LE. One for me, one for my mailman and an extra for trade

I still haven't received my 2007 Compass Rose from Coins & Pins yet, but I have confindence it'll come in a few days. I mailed my check to them on the 7th, and today is the 16th, so I'm not looking to get mine until sometime next week. I've never had a problem with any of my orders from them

Thank You Fluttershy! You are so generous! I was looking at these cute butterflies yesterday, and trying so hard to decide which color to get. When I got home from work this afternoon, I figured I'd better order a coin pronto, or I might not get one before they sold out. I was happy to see they were still available, and made my choice. Then I got your e-mail this evening. WHAT? Then headed over to the forum to have a look, then checked my paypal receipt, yep 2pm! I was flitting around like a butterfly myself, happy, happy! Now, just the sweet anticipation of getting these in the mail. I know it will be awhile, but I'm getting a pink one and a blue one now. Thanks again, you really made my day Ms. B

Was hoping the mailman would bring my coin today, but the only thing he brought was our winter tax bill. I guess that was appropriate, since we're having a big winter storm here in sw michigan. Did get to stay home from work today, since the school I work for closed for a SNOW DAY! Perhaps tomorrow....

Wow, that went nice and smoothly. Got a magic coin, a coast guard coin, and a dragon coin, everything I wanted! So glad they had this sale at a good time, last one was on a weekday morning, and I, like a lot of folks was at work with no computer access. But I guess not anyone time is a good time for everyone, with people working different shifts of the day/night. Still happy to be able to get in on these. Good job Coins & Pins!

Hi, I have two sets of these coins. I activated one set, and have been waiting for the icon to show up before releasing it. The other set, someone who wanted a set but missed out on the order expressed interest in trading for the set, but I haven't heard from them about it for a long while. The set I haven't activated is a silver/keeper - gold/copy. If anyone is interested in them, let me know. If not, I'll activate this set and keep the silver to go along with the gold from the first set. Then I'll go ahead and set the gold copy and the silver copy free. I just thought they might travel better with the icon. I really liked this concept. I still have my coin for my collection, but a REAL coin is traveling. The price was really good also. I know I'd buy more coins that were minted this way.

Just curious how? I was checking the recent movements of GJTB's on the website, and noticed one team Ferrystreens&Fairyglitters of the Netherlands, had "discovered" 8 GJTB's. So I clicked on the GJTB's they had discovered/logged today. Lippincott Mt. (CA) is currently in the hands of a cacher in N. Carolina. Sheep Mt. (CO) is currently in a cache in Utah. Bullhill (CO) is currently in the hands of a cacher in New Mexico. Ryan Peak (ID) is currently in the hands of a cacher in Ohio. etc, etc.... This team has logged 70 green jeeps now... just curious if this is legit...... perhaps there is a logical explanation of how they are discovering jeeps that are scattered all across the USA?

The wonderful 2006 Alaska coins arrived in West Michigan today I was so happy to get a silver and a bronze, especially after getting to geocache in Alaska this summer while in Valdez visiting my Dad. He jammed a lot of life and living into what time he had on this earth. And there's lots of great geocoins out there that have nothing to do with geocaching, they're just neat!
