  2. I have an Ique3600 and I love it. However, I am starting to have trouble with it. I continually have to go to the "Welcome Screen" to reset the stylus. I was wondering if I should buy a NUVI that I could download CacheMate into it? Thanks for your help, Art
  3. Yes, you can load Cachemate into the ique 3600. I had one of first 3600. It was way ahead of its time. Been years since the battery went dead and I gave it away. Sorry, I can't remember the steps. It was a very useful and with the plug in could be used to find caches. Maybe a search will bring up the information you need. Good Luck Dick Thanks Dick, Now, at least i know it can be done. Hope someone will read this and give me the instructions. That would be great. Thanks again, Art
  4. Does anybody know if you can load CacheMate into the Ique 3600? That would be great to go paperless. If so, could you give me instructions on how to do this? I als use GSAK to transfer the waypoints into my 60Cx Thanks, Art
  5. Has the soaring gas prices caused any of you to go caching less or about the same? I am a little more conservative now. That is why I thought it would be a good idea to put in parking coord's where conventient instead of driving around and around trying to find the right place to park to find the cache.

You do realize your first thread is still open, right? No, and if it is, I don't know what to do about it. Please let me know. Thanks, Art

    Parking

Thank you very much for all your replies. Apparently I am in the minority on this one. Guess “mandatory” was too strong a word. Although some of you believed that it is appropriate in some situations. Have fun geocaching. Art (oseos)

    Parking

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. Since this is a concept that affects all geocachers, I am going to suggest that you post this in the Geocaching.com Web site forum. You can reach this forum at this link http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showforum=8 Eric Groundspeak, Inc. Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: XWK-129416 Department: Geocaching With the price of gas and the greenhouse emissions the way they are, I'd like to make a suggestion that all placed geocaches have a "mandatory parking location". It would avoid in some cases a lot of unnecessary driving and frustration. In addition, driving around looking for a place to park close to the geocache can be an extreme safety hazard. Let's keep the planet clean and safe and have fun doing it. Thanks, Art (oseos)
