  1. I have seen several people ask how many coins were minted for the Coin Club coins ie benchmark...and future coins. No one seems to know exactly how many were minted. I say we calculate it here ourselves: If you are a member of the Coin Club say I. And list how many coins your subscription is for. Only reply to this topic once. That way we know how many of us members there are. I say I membership is 2 coins per month.
  2. 2nd day in a row for geocoins in the mailbox. 3 Geo Screw Coins
  3. I have a silver screw coin to trade Any offers? I'm no longer looking for an Ammo Can Coin...it appears my Mom bought me one on ebay for xmas! Thanks Mom you are too kind! Perhaps a First finders Dance coin would be a good trade for me...It is the only Club coin I dont have.
  4. I would like to buy one of these micro coins. I saw a picture on another site. They are the size of a nickle which means we will be able to put coins in micros now unless its a nano ofcourse. Now all we need is a coin that fits in a nano ..that would be interesting to see hehehe.

  10. Having trouble discovering what kind of code that is on the left and right hand sides of the map...the squares and the < symbols. After searching for days I feel like a complete idiot. After 11 hours today of googling I give up and beg for help. The stress of this is quite horrible. Is it suppost to be this hard? Any help would be appreciated. Ok help has been given...ty very much but I still feel like a kindergardner in a class room full of advanced physics majors lol

  15. http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php...0274&hl=ifinder http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php...0274&hl=ifinder Previous discussion about the downloads
  16. I love my iFinder Go. I have also read in previous logs that it does accept downloaded waypoints...something about converting them into the proper format..a download is needed to do the converting...I have no idea how to do this or I would be buying a cable as well
  17. I purchased 2 units knowing I would be testing them and returning the one I didnt like. I bought a etrex at target for 100- plus tax and a Lowrance iFinder go for 73.- (including shipping). Both were acurate. Etrex was easier to learn. But I settled for the Lowrance. Complicated to learn but I downloaded online the 65 page manual and sat out to learn all about the features. The extra features the Lowrance has is the preloaded Maps..great for driving. Battery life said 48 hours..much longer than the etrex but I find the battery life lasts much longer than 48 hours. Also I enjoyed sitting on the beach this summer and with my lowrance it told me about all the ship recks out there I was not aware of...told me the names and dates they sunk..pretty interesting. I know my ifinder has more more than 24 mb for storage..I believe its 36 or 48 MB. The are so many other features of my iFinder that I have not had the chance to learn about...been too busy caching. With 2 months of caching I have found 136 Caches... Glad I returned my etrex. I bought my lowrance online from tigergps or tigerdirectgps...but check prices out with pricegrabber.com for the cheapest price available anywhere.
  18. Here is my contest entry for the October Contest Goal "Paint Job". I hope to win a Jeep of the same color with leopard print velour seats and carpeting.
  19. I just started caching and I ended up purchasing a Lowrance iFinder Go model and its more advanced than an etrex. I love mine and you can buy them online for around 68-. Check out pricegrabber.com for the cheapest price. I bought an etrex at target and ordered my lowrance from tigergps and tested them both...ended up returning the etrex. My iFinder Go has maps and I just found it has more bang for the bucks and the batteries last 68 hours! I have found 101 caches in 6 weeks using it. I find it very acurate. I live near the ocean and last month I was at the beach and was suprised to find that it even shows you the ship wrecks out in the ocean that are near by...holds data telling you about them. I have climbed 5 mountains with it and found 101 with only 2 DNF (those were micros that I have trouble on). With the 101 caches I have changed the batteries twice...left the unit on over night a few times by accident as well. My only beef with the Ifinder Go is that you can search for local bodies of water and the nearest one it brings up is over 1500 miles away. I believe this is operator error on my part.
