Suite aux modifications effectuées sur le site Geocaching.com, le script "GC Show More Maps" a du être adapté (version 1.1). Pour que cette nouvelle version tourne avec un Firefox en français il faut réappliquer le patch (voir en tête de ce fil)

J'aime bien cette fonctionnalité car c'est rapide.. Un click sur le lien et hop la carte et l'itinéraire détaillés apparaissent. Pas besoin d'aller voir ailleurs pour un résultat pratiquement identique.

Eh bien je confirme la correction apportée par Keith fonctionne parfaitement.

Avec les derniers changements du site geocaching.com celui-ci est devenu inutile, gc.com a introduit le "feature" eux-même... n0x0n Ce script n'est pas celui qui permet d'avoir un résumé des 'found, did not find, etc..' mais un script qui permet l'affichage de tous les logs sans avoir à cliquer sur "There are more logs. View them all on one page" en bas de page. C'est bien de cela dont tu parles??

J'ai installé Greasemonkey hier et il y a trois scripts que je trouve utiles pour le geocaching: GC Show All Logs GC Gallery GC Show Morel Maps Ces scripts peuvent être téléchargés ICI, ainsi que d'autres que je n'ai pas encore testés. Keith, le créateur de SpoilerSync a déjà en test une nouvelle version! Voir lien dans post précédent! Le test que je suis en train de conduire est encourageant.. Je vois à nouveau des mages apparaitre dans mon dossier spoiler!!!

Depuis les modifications mises en place le 16 Mai 2007 sur le site GC, SpoilerSync ne parvient plus à extraire les spoilers ou autres photos postées par le propriétaire d'une cache. Plusieurs geocacheurs Grands Bretons l'ont également constaté voir discussion ICI: J'ai envoyé un email au créateur de l'application.. A suivre..

That's the procedure I have been using for a long time now, but since the recent changes made on the GC server, this procedure does not seem to be working any longer. Before the changes we had a direct link to the .jpg file from the description page of the cache, when now it goes through this javascript before you get a link to the .jpg file. I guess this is the cause for the problem. Did you check recently? I am experiencing the same problems as 'batla'. I have used a GPX file that I know used to produce images but now does not find any. Like 'batla' I have used the same procedure for ages and it has always worked until the recent tweakings by gc.com. My apologizes, you are quite right Ive just downloaded my weekly GPX updates and ran Spoilersync on it and not only did it not find new spoilers but it deleted over a thousand old ones, guess we will have to wait for a new version, if there is one ever produced. I don't want to sound pessimistic but the activity on Spoilersync does not seem to be high lately. Though, it might be because there was no need for changes until recently.. Therefore it might be worth dropping an email to the programmer. I try! <edit> Message sent..</edit>

Works fine on my pc still.... Spoiler sync doen't grab images anylonger. The ones I have on my desktop or in my pda are the old ones , new ones don't get loaded.

When rushing for a FTF you're convinced that all cars you see on the road contain geocachers trying to steal this FTF from you! When walking in the wild every hiker you meet has to be a geocacher, otherwise why would she/he be there?? When during the week-end, all the people you meet in your touristic village are here for finding your great caches... you wish

I didn't know you had a 4x4 Olivier..??!! I just know you drive like if you would.. Thanks to Son of Windswept (Paul) I could reach the number 3 position in France (with only 184 caches), since he placed many caches before I went to Touraine on 'pelerinage'. Olivier and Nick are far beyond my reach.. ever! They're way too active!!!

You may also look at the caches around Ribeauvillé by 'seeking' a cache at the following coordinates: N48°12.275' E7°18.192 These coordinates are those of the cache in Ribeauvillé: Le trésor de chevalier Egenolf by firlefanz (GCK9TM). You will actually find most if not all of my caches You also could base your search on the pseudos of the most active geoplacers in Alsace: sTeamTraen (47) DGSTRUCH (20) OMLingo (14) Batla (that's me..) (14) Pianopoppets (11) Warcat (7) Dav999 (6) he is near Mulhouse Bumerle (4) ... Most if not all our descriptions are in both French and English! If you plan on visiting Strasbourg, I suggest that you try the urban caches from sTeamTraen (Tramway 1 to 5) which are challenging.. You can also go on the french site.. This helps, I tried... but The issue though is that when doing this way, I first have to run the reports and then wait for them, when before I had them waiting for me in my mail. Also and very important, I have to modify all my scripts since the names of the files I get are different from what they used to be. These scripts convert the PQ files in the appropriate formats required by the different applications I use on my Treo650 (TomTom, Cachemate, plucker, CetusGPS..). Living at the border of France, Germany, Switzerland, I run country specific reports (TomTom imposes this) which explains my impatience when dealing with this workaround. Anyway.. I understand that it's not likely to be back to the previous state any time soon.. which is very disappointing. Thanks!

Are you sure Jeremy?? I don't think so! When your reports are not run, whether your provider is AOL or anyone else, you won't get the reports.. I think this discussion on AOL is irrelevant and hides the actual problems, the PQ is is just simply inoperative and it seems that it's gonna stay like that for long! From July 17th on, the only use of my susbcribtion has been to support the site. I think it is important but when I registered I was also expecting to geocache 'paperfree'. Can't do anymore!

There are loads of messages in different threads of the forum about PQ's not working any longer. It is well known by the administrator of this site, I guess the real question is when will there be a real solution and not unsatisfactory workarounds..???

Adding linespaces did not help me but adding several spaces at the end of each line does the job. See an example here

My pocket queries are also stuck! last run was the 17th. Making copies of the queries or creating new ones is not an acceptable answer since the file name would change which would prevent other utilities relying on the file name to work properly. This situation is very annoying since paper free is not possible any longer. Any hope to get this issue fixed soon?
