Thanks for posting this! I just found a coin that needed activation.

Reading this post was perfect timing - I was in need of a new book to read. Downloading it now.

I was lucky enough to buy the Collector's Edition Set + the Discovered signed book and coin from Frozen Buns at GxProxy at the TAG Fall Fest event last weekend at Greenleaf State Park in Oklahoma. These are the best looking coins I have ever seen. It was great meeting Beverly, too (thanks for spending so much time with us!)

It is not working for me either. *UPDATE: Inside of the Geocaching app, I logged out of my account and back in and trackables are now working.

We found one of these in a cache today. It is a gorgeous coin - if anyone has one of these they would like to sell please let me know.

Okay. Real life has been happening since my last post about this project. Geocaching has had to take the back seat. GOOD NEWS: The project is finished! I finished it last night literally minutes before Crossmage and PAgirlinTX came to whisk it away. PAgirl will be carting The Impaler to GW9. It was a nearly last minute change. I had a back-up plan in place, but Murphy's Law won when my primary had a change of plans. Great thanks goes out to Crossmage for volunteering PAgirlinTX to take our community TB to GW9 and for coming to my house to pick it up. I also have to thank The Sn[][]gstress for her help in completing the project. I could not have finished it in time without her help. If anyone has sent a trackable to me and I have not logged it.... It has missed the bus. The bad news... In my haste to get the project completed and out the door, I forgot to take a picture. I hope to get one up soon though. I have a request in. The best pic taken at GW9 will be used for the TB page. Thanks again for doing this project. It is really exciting to watch my TB go from site to site.

I think that you are awesome for doing this. I need to grab a disposable camera for the cache I am getting rdy to place.

I started with geonickels.com, you supply the design, they make a really nice wooden nickel. Then I started buying blank wooden nickels from wooden-nickel.com. From there you can add your own design with paint, markers, wood burners, etc.......... I use custom-made rubber stamps with my personal design on it. Blanks are cheap, maybe $15-$20 for a couple hundred. Send me your address thru my geocaching profile and I'll send you one of mine. No trade necessary. I'll check out geonickels.com right now.
