Still no coin within 200 miles of my neighborhood. I am losing hope!

I am also waiting for the Crystal Dragon coin I paid for so long ago. The last email I got from SoCal promised it was still in the works but that was a few months back.

You could try posting your request in the geocoin trading thread at the top of the Geocoin Discussions page. Someone might have one they will trade or sell to you.

We have a new coin thief in our area so I feel your pain. I usually check to see how many visitors have been to the cache since the coin was dropped. If there have been several cachers there who have not logged the coin, most likely the coin is missing. Around here, there is one cacher that leaves an unusally high number of missing coins in her wake. I don't even bother to try if she has been there.

I got mine today. They are spectacular! And the pin is soooo cute. Could a micro turtle coin be next?!?

Many of the coins have not even started moving. What's going on with them? I hope they have not been stolen.

I got mine today! Sooooo sparkly! I love the tiny velvet pouches they come in.

I was going to say the same thing. Lump and I were in LV in March and encountered the same problem. I was hesitant to drop any travelers because of the high chance of them getting stolen there. On the other hand, it's fun to be able to put a high mileage leg on the TB's journey when that is their mission. I think we dropped about a dozen bugs during the week that we were there and at least one of them appears to have been stolen.

I vote for the preorder option. I will definitely pick up a few!

I lived in Thailand for five years. I definitely need to get one of these!
