You can download the US version free from here http://www.memory-map.com/
You can run more than one version on your pc at the same time. I currently have version 5 OS and the US version open. The US version can be used to calibrate scanned maps and these can then be used with the OS version. (OS maps can't be used with the US version without tweaking).
I actually use both versions since I can then have two overlays.
The European version also allows calibration and works as the US.

Have downloaded the Euro version and successfully calibrated a map but my v5 does not see it. Will try US ve4rsion and see if v5 sees that calibrated map!

If I remember rightly, you need the "European V5" to calibrate your own maps. If you have the OS edition, it won't let you do it.
Grrr!
So will European V5 still use the OS maps or have I wasted my cash on UK v5?

I used to have v4. Then upgraded to v5.
I just can't seem to find the calibrate option under the 'maps' menu.
Any help please?

It worked earlier this morning, but I'm not at home for a live test either.
Gmail must be doing something as suddenly its back for GSAK but not for another account via Outllok.

Anyone else suddenly lost pop access to Gmail from GSAK? All is well on pop access to Gmail on 1 account but other two accounts failing?

What a shame! The video link doesn't appear to be working. I was looking forward to seeing the littlest of the 3Gs (Third Generation)in a starring role.

Good to see another cacher in Argyll! There's a dearth of caches in Kintyre so bring boxes!

I'd thought about putting some down at Campbeltown direction when i used to do work there, but alas i do no more.
It would be good to get one @ the ROC post at Caradale...!!!There are plenty of caches in Mid Argyll, especially around the Craignish Area.
I know a couple of farmers in Carradale so I'll ask around to see whose land its on.

I'm in Lochgilphead and am down the peninsula every few months so could offer to look after them.
I've a contact in the local Forestry Office who supports Geocaching and will give permission if its a suitable spot.

In MM goto Web........Check for updates............... You should have version 4.4.3
Check your version in MM by going to Help...........About

I've only had my Vista 14 months and the click stick is broken. They'll repair it for a flat fee of £77.

When you say mail tab, where was it? Was it part of Firefox or another toolbar (Google etc)?

Success using Euro edition! (Calibrated map in a different folder so had to get v5 to look at that folder too!)
