Children And Caching
mafarrimond replied to Tupperware Hunters's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
My children are all adults now and I haven't really been done any caching with groups but I love taking my young nieces with me on trips out. They love it too! If you ever come to North Wales - let me know and I'll gladly come out with you. Maureen -
Cache Recommendations In Chester Area
mafarrimond replied to The Bolas Heathens's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
A nice walk along the canal will give you either Forest Shelter or Rosie and Jim aren't here. Capenhurst Pinfold isn't too far away from Saughall either. Good luck with The Clairvoyant! I have stared at this one on a number of occassions hoping for inspiration but none has come so far. Hope you have a great day in Chester. Maureen -
The highest number I have cached on one day was 17 but that did involve some long walks and a nice lunch inbetween.

From my co-ordinates in Flintshire, there are 209 caches - 99 of which I have found and 15 of my own. Plenty of scope for more finds.

I went to Snowdon with plans to do the six micro caches that led to a main cache. Not visiting them in order, I wrote the numbers down in the wrong order. We did not find the cache and will now have to re-visit. My husband wasn't impressed!

Favourite Types Of Caches
mafarrimond replied to Da Rubber Chicken's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
Since joining, my favourite type of cache has changed several times. At the momment, I would opt for a traditional cache at an interesting location. -
A great idea and a lovely coin. I will keep a look out for the caches.

I would love 2 please.

Hi, I am trying to complete the locationless cache - Sisters. For this I need someone from Lakeland, Colorado to take a photograph of themselves with their GPS in front of the city sign and send it to me. In exchange I will send a photograph of myself in front of the Chester City Sign enabling you to also claim the cache. Is there anyone from Lakeland who will be willing to help. Maureen

I have been looking through the locationless caches and came accross this unusual one. The object of the cache is to convert your user name into co-ordinates then persuade someone close to those co-ordinates to go out with their GPS and take a photograph of it displaying the co-ordinates. My user name converts to 62 32 77 which appears to correspond to Yellow knife (North) and New Glasgow (West). Does anyone live close to those co-ordinates and are willing to take a phot for me? Maureen from North Wales, UK
