Just curious here, this thread started ~2 1/2 days ago and the whole point of the original post was answered by Cathy herself right? So... Why is it the thread isn't dead yet? Or at least locked.

I had an idea for a puzzle cache but I wanted to take it a tad further and add in the multi aspect, I haven't seen it yet (though it probably exists) and I was wondering if it would be allowed.

Durability and waterproofing considered, I like the standard lock and lock boxes. Creativity considered I like recycled glucose test strip tubes, the newer ones have a pop off "hinge" type lid that is pretty water proof and they are small enough to hide nearly anywhere.

Initially I heard about the game as a kid in the scouts but you know kids, in one ear and out the other. Then a little over a year ago my coworker (nastychef) brought it up as he had just came in from caching. Well I looked up the app, went out to find my first cache, and failed. Spent an hour walking in circles in the woods. A week or so later I gave it another shot, while I was digging about in some bushes a film canister attatched to a string bopped me on my forehead. That was the moment I decided I can't give this up. (I did wind up finding that first cache, a year later two feet from where I was searching)

Thanks for the reply, and couldn't you also do that with the saved lists? That's what I do now so I can mark which ones I want to go out and find and which ones I need to log.

Ive been using my iPhone so far to cache and I've been putting off upgrading only because some of the features I'd like I already get from the app (advanced searches ect). The two features I am really interested in are the new cache notifications and the ability to view PM only caches, now this may be a silly question but will the PM caches show up on my phone like regular caches would? Or would I hav to find them while online and then use a PQ?
