  1. DARWEN - BB3 area looking to be adopted Have been geocaching on and off for a couple of years but feel it is more hit and miss than knowing what I am doing. Have found just over 100 so far. I have a satmap which we use for *ahem* proper *ahem* walking and I use my sony expira android with geocaching app for actual geocaching. Currently I look on the website and then write everything down in a little book, coordinates, hints etc !! Have you stopped laughing yet? I am 50+ female, and tend to geocache on my own (OH has a mountain bike!), occasionally my eldest son joins me. I work, and have elderly parents so time is precious. Thanks, Nance2112
  2. HI, I am a releativley newbie around here and if this is in the wrong place I apologise. I registered with northwest caching some time ago, but didn't visit for a long time. Now when I try to visit their forums I get this message:- General Error SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ] Access denied for user: 'dbo212147836@%' to database 'db212147836' [1044] An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists. Could someone please help? I am not particularly technically minded either. Thanks in advance. Jane (Nance2112)
  3. Hi, Another newbie here. I have a Sat Map for walking and I managed to use it to find my first cache locally. However I am not sure how to put the coordinates in. To find the local one I just wrote them down on a bit of paper and headed of till the Sat Map told me 'there I was'. It has a compass screen and a coordinates screen ,but not together unfortunately. Is there a easy way? I could plot them as waypoints I suppose. Thanks,
