  1. Would you mind, then, posting the coordinates for this cache here? Thanks. N 42 47.534 W106 20.206 Dosen't bother me, I would love for more people to find my caches. Anyhow there is a difference between actually having the Coords of a cache final and knowing the general location of the final. Just think about when you get to a cache and the coords are off by 30' or more how much longer and how many more places you look to find the container.
  2. Now, where could the caches be... This is pretty close to what I was thinking just maybe without the outline of the circle so each of the circles blend in to each other especially in high saturated areas. Everyone seems to be stuck on the fact that you could possibly solve a multi or puzzle cache at least getting close to the final coords by looking at the map. Why is that a bad thing? I thought the point of Geocacheing was to find hidden containers.
  3. I think Lexmarks might be on to something here. Not that the map should show where all the caches are but a map that just shows a radius around areas that a cache can not be placed due to the saturation rule. What would serve as the center of that circle, then? Why would there need to be something at the center of the circle? Why couldn't there be a map that shows where a cache can not be placed?

  5. I don't see why you couldn't do what you said you would like to do. The two things that I could see off hand that might help you getting your trackable to the destination would be... SIZE - you would want to keep the trackable small so it can fit in more caches and is easier for cachers to carry. Split it up - multiple trackables would have a better chance of at least one making it. Also I've seen too many trackables getting lost due to either people forgetting they picked it up or disappearing in caches when a cache goes missing.
  6. Heres an example that I think shouldn't have been archived. GC1KA29 I had downloaded the cache on my GPS before a bussiness trip in CA this one happened to be close to my work and fairly easy find, but when I went to log it I found out it had just recently been archived because "no one had found it in months". Now this one is one of many peices of Geolitter.
  7. Knock yourself out it needs more people watching it. HAHA added to my watch list
  8. I got an e-mail back from H2GUY and he has no problem with us discussing his cache on the forums. With that said it is pretty funny how the number of people watching this cache jumped from 79 and 80 when a friend of mine and myself clicked watch this cache up to now 91 in the last couple days.
  9. I have e-mailed the CO of this cache to make sure it is ok with him to talk about his cache. I'll let you know what I hear back.
  10. Any how my hats off to H2GUY for a unique cache. Anyone know of any other puzzle caches that have been out for a while but have yet to be found?
  11. **** SPOILER ALERT ****** It was mentioned in the Lamppost thread. Yep that’s the one I seen it in. I understand that its bad form but what is the difference between a group working on it at the location and people talking about it here. In all seriousness I doubt anything said here will actually lead to it being found...... if it is even there. It didn't even cross my mind that it might not even be there for some reason I took it for granted that everyone would actually put a cache out when they list one. I’m sure that if it is there theoretically with a lot of math you could come up with Coords for every possible location of the cache in that field. Anyhow I found this cache to be interesting and it is something diffrent to talk about besides all the "I hate this type of cache" that I seen way too much in the threads.
  12. Kinda figured I'd get a responce like that. My bad I guess. Like I said earlier I'll never be going to this cache. Just curious.
  13. I came across this cache while reading in the forums. First of all me being in Wyoming I'll probably never make it down to Dallas to even take a shot at finding it. I'm just wondering what other ideas other people might have on it. I am thinking this cache possibly needs some out of the "box thinking" ie out of the park? My thoughts are that that there are far more ways that lines from the 4 lamp posts mentioned in the description could cross to the point where the cache should be. Seems like everyone has been concentrating their efforts inside the park and with this cache being 2 years old with no finds makes you go hmmmmmm. So what are your thoughts? I take that back after all of that reading I missed the first line that " it is in the grass area"
  14. What I have seen around here so many people are going for the FTF that we end up with a group of cachers at GZ within an hour of the cache being posted and they normaly just post a Co-FTF when the cache is spotted. I personally don't post a FTF unless I was the only one there and was really first to find the cache needless to say I don't have too many FTFs.
  15. The other day, I was looking for a Multi cache that go figure I had the wrong coordinates so I spent a bunch of time looking in the wrong area. Anyhow in my search in the rain at night I sat down to reread the hints when some girls that were driving by leaned out their window to ask what I was doing. I relied that I was just "chillin" they just said "oh" and drove off. Then it hit me right after they drove off I should have said " waiting for you" darn my slow wit.
