  1. 1 x Team Sand Dollar Ver 2 Black Nickel- Very elegant coin. 1x Gold Wingnuts- Wouldn't expect less from Texas.
  2. My Cachestats says I was once 108 days without a find, must have been unconscious or something.
  3. Also many pharmacies carry pill fobs which are the same.
  4. Well this just about changes everything, doesn't it?
  5. Sounds good to me, I actually picked up quite a few similiar things at a Halloween shop closeout awhile ago which I have not used as yet.
  6. True, it may make for a rather long geocoin but I like the idea of the locomotive and the tender connected on one coin.
  7. Might want to start here: http://www.geocoincollection.com/cointrade/coinlist.asp
  8. Whoot! Happy dancing to ensue... Along with several of the new Missouri Route 66 coins ordered I was bestowed one of Limited Edition of 50 and not sold directly Antique Copper Route 66 coins !!! Thanks Hogwildstuff and 9key!!!
  9. With all due respect, if you are going to get stressed out about the location and well-being of your TB's perhaps travel bug ownership isn't for you. Placing a TB out in the scary real world subjects it to many perils. There is no absolute guarantee it will even make it out of its' first placement. My first TB travelled 15 miles and promptly disappeared. On the other hand I also have had 3 other bugs travel to Europe, one returning back to the good ole USA.
  10. Unless I misunderstand, the only problem with using actual bones in the wild is that other critters will consume them for their calcium.
  11. I must ask, what brings about this line of questioning?
  12. One hint from a past find that stands out for me was simply the word "vertical". The cache was hidden within a standing tree in the midst of a forest. Kinda narrows it down, huh?
  13. It happens. Some have even called it "caching's dirty little secret". Probably an issue best handled on a case by case basis. A cache on the "private property" of Wal-Mart is a bit different than acreage posted "no trespassing".
  14. I agree, the image on the front is the stuff of scary campfire tales. I think it it does make a pretty unique coin though.
  15. Ever since I logged one from a cache I have wanted the 2005 DelaWhere? (Delaware) coin. It has to be one of most gorgeous geocoins I have seen to date. If anyone has a spare for sale I would love to aquire one (either in gold or silver). Thanks!
  16. I am relatively new to collecting geocoins and was wondering if there is a value reference in the works? Have geocoins been included in price guides for other exonumia? And while we are at it what do you think Moun10bike #001 is worth?
  17. The Loggerhead geocoin comes to mind, but unfortunately it is sold out now. You may want to buy or trade from a current holder.
  18. 19 total watchers on 17 active caches which comes to 1.1176470588235294117647058823529. I was suprised to discover that my most difficult active cache has no watchers. What was the point of this again? I forgot.
  19. Is there a requirement where you to live to ask for permission? We need a lot more information; Is it private land? Is it Federal land? State Park? It is an empty lot near my house that has not been used in years. It has dirt, tall grass and trees. I contacted the company whos sign stated that it was for lease. That would be private property, so asking permission is appropriate for that location. You asked, they said no, now you need to find a new location. But it sounds like such a special place!
  20. It could be the result of the fairly common misconception that in order to take a TB you must leave a TB. I am amazed although that a GJTB has sat in a cache that long.
  21. Mine came today as well, very pleased with it. Really liked the sparkles in the water too.
  22. Congrats on the sales. I love the two I ordered, great coin.
