That's part of the understanding when you join the military, to take those risks and offer to make such sacrifices. MajBach You can't have everything,where would you put it?

I went ahead and emailed several geocachers from various areas where we need volunteers - Yukon, NWT (what's it called now?), N.B, N.S., P.E.I. & N. Alberta. I think it would really be awesome if we got signatures from every province. Interestingly, all the caches in the Yukon and N.W.T. belong to people who have not found any caches, but have only placed them. None of the caches up there, except maybe one, have any logged visits either. Maybe we should send one square to Yellowknife and one to Whitehorse and hope someone will set up an easy urban cache to allow those cachers in the area to sign it. Same goes for P.E.I. I imagnine we won't have any problems getting volunteers for the other maritime provinces and remote areas. MajBach You can't have everything,where would you put it?

Cliffy and 300 mag are probably the best two to divide up how many blocks go to each area. Shouldn’t be hard if they go by the dispersal pattern of caches throughout the country. It would be especially nice if we can cover every province and territory. Summer being here soon should make it prime time to get signatures. I’m definitely for limiting signatures to Geocachers as well. Your idea for getting blocks signed sounds like a lot of fun too. Seeing as there are quite a few cachers in my area, a cache event sounds great. I also think placing blocks in a cache for a couple of weeks in more remote locations would allow those in less populated areas time to sign. I spend a lot of time north of the southern urban areas in Ontario every summer. It would be nothing for me to plant a cache with blocks in it further north for others to sign. I also like the suggestion of a draw for those who volunteered to get the blocks signed to receive the quilt (biased – ha ha). Seriously, ten people are hardly enough to cover the country lest it take a long time to get signatures. Taking a quick look at the entire country, I’d guesstimate we need at least 40 people divided up based on the area of the province they reside in. The blocks would have to be divided further based on the number of caches in that area. I’d volunteer for helping out on how to do this (maybe that’ll mean I can put my name in the draw twice!).
