If there is a tracking number or owner's name in the log book or anywhere on the cache, look up the cache and post a note to the cache owner letting them know the situation and offering to return the cache & contents. This will also let other cachers know that the cache has been moved so that they won't waste time looking for it.

1) It is a small town, so we get to know our neighbors and others in the community well. 2) I love the seasons. If you live someplace with all 4 seasons, you might not even think about it, but after going to college in a place that pretty much has a wet & dry season, I love being back home and watching all 4 seasons. 3) We have a large number of restaurants, shopping centers, etc. near us, but far enough away that the traffic to them doesn't affect us. I wouldn't like living somewhere that I had to drive two hours to get to the grocery store; I also wouldn't want to live in the grocery store's parking lot. I love the location where I am. Not too close, not too far, and lots of variety.

Hi everyone! I'm a college student who stumbled on geocaching by accident and found that I quite like it. I don't have a GPS unit (yay for college budgets) so I'm using Google Maps & common sense at the moment, but hopefully that will change later. I'm a chronic forum lurker, but I figured I'd try to break the habit and at least say hello. Happy caching, mates!
