    What's the farthest you will travel for a cache?

    We went round trip in the San Francisco area this weekend, about 150 miles round trip. Had a wonderful time.

     

    Have just recently purchased our GPS. Since my job takes me around the world, I guess I can't say I travel just to geocache but it sure is fun!

     

    On April 1 through 13, I will travel to Hong Kong, Guilin and Beijing. I looked up caches in China (excluding Hong Kong)and found 4-5 sites only. Most are virtual - I will find a couple and create a couple. I saw someone else's post / mile estimate ~8,000 miles...WOW! What a blast this is!

    I got the picture to 88K - thanks!

    BUT...when I view the picture on the website the resolution is horrible.

    Your statement of not putting anyone down is not well supported. Especially when you use the biased term "lame".

     

    Big Dog, wait until this goes mainstream - you will be one frustrated fellow...

     

    Because you've found more than you placed, is of no consequence to the fun of the game for the rest of us. Everyone enjoys different aspects of the game. Let them enjoy it without trying to restrict them.

     

    You remind me of the mayor in the movie Chocolat - go have a piece of chocolate and mellow out dude!

    I used to spend alot of time in China and am on my way back for the first time in 2 years. I am going to find the virtual cache in Shanghai.

     

    I am also going to create a few. My first stop is Hong Kong (I used to live there and guess I'll have to do a virtual). Next stop is Shenzen, I know a place in Shekou, near the Nan Hai hotel to hide one. Then on to Guilin (haven't been there but I'' create one). The to Shanghai and my old stomping grounds at Jaio Tong University.

    Then to Beijing for another virtual.

    Maybe I can give you something to find on your travels.

    Help!

     

    Is there any rules (size of pcture) for uploading pictures to the cache report?

     

    I reported a find, I went back and tried to upload a picture but I keep getting the the "refresh" white page. I've tried from 2 different computers..

     

    Any ideas?
