  1. Huh? I think it's a take-off on this one: Q: What did the Buddhist say to the hot dog vendor? A: Make me one with everything. Heh heh. I like it. Another thing left at this spot was this:
  2. I’m new to geocaching but I spend a lot of time poking around in the woods and have found some odd things, like this Buddha amulet which was wedged in the back of a tree off the trail in a section of woods which has always had a spooky feel to it.
  3. More than coincidence, if you ask me. ‘Bicycle caching’? Never new it existed – and I have a business related to bicycles. I’m sure I’ll find a topic here on bicycle caching, so I’m off to do my research.
  4. Yes Coach Steve, that is the way to do it. Take a photo and leave it. I hate hearing about people with cigar boxes full of points and scrapers. Arrowheads, scrapers, pottery shards – you’ll find this stuff anywhere and everywhere in the woods. And you should leave it where it is. It may have been lost hundreds of years ago or it may have been placed there – maybe recently – for spiritual reasons. Here in Massachusetts, those of us who spend a lot of time in the woods often find geochaces and letterboxes. We leave them alone.
  5. I've collected old maps for years and spend a lot of time stomping around in the woods looking at old sites. I've stumbled on to many geochaces and letterboxes, so I figured I’d come here and see if any of you had experienced any ‘weird’ stuff in the woods. The topic of this thread is the type of thing I’m looking for. -Vin
