Also, don't get the window cling that would stick on the inside of the window if you have tinted rear windows. Speaking from experience. It does get logged, but it also gets missed a bunch.

Lol, this was us once. But couldn't get the driver or passengers attention whenever we pulled alongside as we couldn't read the number. Somewhere on I-10 if I remember right.

Some are good, others are ok. I believe it all depends on the CO. If they keep it updated with what is inside and remove those that aren't there, then I like it.
I have had good and bad luck with TB hotels with trackables going missing. But that is with any cache....

If you see it, discover it. This way the owner knows it is still out there. They may then update the goal of it.
If you pick it up, log it properly and move it to another cache (and log properly). This again lets the owner know it still exists, and maybe update the goal.
I try to keep the goals on our trackables updated, but the emails saying it has been logged always gets me to look.

I wait a few years and then use a copy tag (sometimes come with trackable), or a DupleBug or something like it (blank tag to write the number on), or anything I can write the number on (wood coins, etc). Then I re-release it.
Plus there is always the chance it will reappear. That is why I wait several years. One of ours reappeared after three years missing if I remember.
But it is your number, so play it as you like.
