  1. Using... http://www.wordbook.cz/index.php http://www.lingvosoft.com/English-Czech-Dictionary/ After a little searching....I got something like: So what about FunThomas, why you have to put it?
  2. Works fine in my Firefox 1.5.0.6. I use Firefox exclusively. Do you get this message with other graphics?
  3. That's funny, since when I click on Microsoft MapPoint, I get MSN's mapping site, not Live Local. Try this at several cache pages and see what you get.
  4. I agree. You are also welcome to encourage Microsoft in the right direction. Personally I don't think they will catch up with Google's software.
  5. I've been looking at the new Microsoft mapping program Windows Live Local It has nice low altitude photographs of many locations. But it's not as user friendly as Google Earth or Google Maps. And you can't enter Lat/Long either. So I sent an Email to Microsoft to indicate desire for these features. Here's the email and response: How about adding latitude/longitude support like Google maps and Earth? Geocachers rely on these. Hello Michael, Thank you for your interest in Windows Live Local Beta. My name is Josh and I will be happy to assist you tonight. I understand that you would like to determine GPS coordinates using Local.live.com {no, I want to enter them and see the map!} The first step to mining this information is to create a permalink at the location you want to pinpoint. To create a permalink click "Share" on the top toolbar and then click "View Permalink". Choose "Copy permalink to clipboard". Note: If you have more than one entry in this window you will want to close this permalink window and clear your pushpins by clicking "Clear" on your "Scratchpad" on the right side of the screen. Open notepad by Clicking Start, then Run, and typing "notepad" and pressing enter. In Notepad, Right Click and then left click "Paste" You will see a URL that looks like the one below. Live Local [ .... 47.622048 -122.349466 .... ] The above URL describes the location of the Seattle Space Needle. If you are familiar with GPS coordinates you will recognize the decimal coordinates. They are the numbers near the centre of this url: 47.622048~-122.349466 - The first number is the latitude of the Seattle Space Needle. The second is the longitude of the Seattle Space Needle. There is currently no way to enter coordinates at local.live.com for viewing. {emphasis added} I hope this is of some assistance. Thank you for contacting Windows Live Beta. Send our Product teams feedback comments or issues that you have with the Windows Live Beta. Sincerely, Joshua M. Windows Live Support Team Maybe we can convince them to improve the website.
