  1. LOL I am in the process of making new nickels and should have em finished sometime this week.. depending on my motivation, so I could be ready for more trades soon. I also JUST today received a Planisphere coin from a trade in the mail and can't stop playing with it.. Waay cool coin. Can't wait till I get a cloud free moon free night to check it out. I don't think I would have been offended by the kiddo dropping the coin, I'd have probably flinched but not offended. I'm all thumbs most of the time, hey I dropped my Moun10Bike coin no sooner than I took it out of the plastic shell it was in.
  2. I also received a package VERY similar to this one.. Totally caught me by surprise. The whole ride back from the mailbox I was trying to figure out what I had ordered. Tell ya what.. there's some good eats in there. Thank you so much. LOVED everything. That little bobblehead turtle is pretty mezmerizing. Happy Holidays to you All.
  3. A tradition I enjoy is getting all my neices and nephews hopped up on sugar and caffeine just before they have to go home. Woot!
  4. Actually, that's EXACTLY what I should do! I have one of those number/letter punch sets and I could use an old piece of aluminum. Thanks I know someone that could make a Brass Tag for ya, and I believe he would trade em' for geocoins...
  5. Woot! Me too, I also received a little Maine Lobster today. Very cool, Thank you mystery lobster sender! This little guy looks like crawdads we have in the creeks around here in the spring. Love it!
  6. Wooden nickels are wooden nickels... IMO... Not geocoins.. they're cool.. but not geocoins. Wooden nickels are a great alternative to geocoins though, check this thread out ... Wooden Nickel Thread Link ... Click Here I have had them professionally made, I've bought wooden nickel blanks and made ones that way and I have gone out and cut nickels from limbs I've trimmed from my yard. They can be pricey or dirt cheap... like most things. Whatever way you choose, they'll be your creations to share.
  7. I totally agree.. you should send all your prototypes to me ASAP.
  8. I drill holes and attach a brass tag to all the coins I release, seems to help some. That's a modified USA coin btw... front... back...
  9. How about a Mustang Ranch geocoin? Probably be best if it's non trackable....
  10. I know the V3 ones are.. not sure about the V1 or V2.. you should send me the ones you have and I'll verify one way or another.
  11. 03' I believe.. correct me if I'm wrong.. I have an 03 USA if that helps.. Pretty sure the Kilted cacher coins came well after that.
  12. Here's a thread .... Holes in coins link
  13. I have a Tiki "Mr.Stoneface", I'd like to trade for either a "Five Five" or a "Stubborn Stone" ... Any takers?
  14. Sharp looking coin, I'll have to keep an eye out for this one.
  15. I'm posting this here because this involves geocoins and food, and I had heard that some really great eats can be found in the UK and Ireland. ... 16. I'm still waiting to hear from a couple of people that cointacted me, and I wanted to say Thank You to everyone that emailed me, but.. Just like the Highlander said... "There can be only one", I will be going through all the offers today, and once I hear back from a couple folks, I'll find this thing a new home this evening. Thanks again. ~57~ Still waiting to hear back from one person... Ok.. Again.. Thank you to the immense offerings of some very generous people! I will say that I'm still waiting on a reply from one trader just to be fair. In the process of sorting through all the offers I was forced to make some decisions as to what I wanted to see... first.. that it go to someone that didn't already have one, and believe me.. that knocked out some seriously sweet offers. And in the spirit of the game I wanted to see it travel, so I limited it to traders outside the U.S. so... that's where I'm at right now, I've contacted the majority of people that fall in these unfortunate categories. The final decision has yet to be made thanks to differing time zones. Cache on.... ~57 TRADE MADE..... HEADED NORTH...

  18. I've had quite a positive response, and think I've responded to everybody that has contacted me, I had a minor hiccup with my puter but it's all ok now... I think. So if you contacted me and haven't heard anything, please try again. I'm still considering offers till Sunday afternoon.. evening ish.. ~57'
  19. I have an extra Moun10Bike V3 to trade for saleable coinage. I will be entertaining trade offers through the weekend. (Please be specific in your offer) Shoot me an email (NO PMs please, they most likely will go unnoticed) and I'll put your offer in the hat. If I don't get right back to you, please be patient. I'll be offline more than on, but will reply as soon as I can. Thx. ~57' Edit.... For the newer folks... the trackable Moun10Bike coins have been activated and the man himself "M10B" retains ownership, with the understanding that his coins are not to be sold. Just so there's no big surprises. ~Me
  20. I received one of these in the mail recently, and have to pop on and say Thank You! Not sure who the Geocaching Angel is or why they feel I'm deserving.. but it is Very much appreciated. It was definitely a surprise. Good to see something positive on here. Congratulations to all the recipients! And Thank you again GA! Very cool.
  21. I just received one of these cards this week... AWESOME!! Love em! Thank you so much. I appreciate it. ~57
  22. Well, here's my 2 cents.. I have had countless dealings with Cinemaboxers in the past, and have never had problems. Jim and Paula have both been very honest with me, and I consider them friends. I have done numerous trades with them, and am using Paula as the designer for my next personal coin.(already started) Simply because I know she will put out a spectacular design. And ya know.. if it takes time to get it where it needs to be design wise.. So be it.. I won't settle for 2nd rate work and that's not what Cinemaboxers is all about. Their designs speak for themselves and if it's not up to snuff, it won't be produced. Communication seems to be the key to most of the issues with design. If you lack the communication skills necessary, find someone to translate, until everyone is on the same page. I DON'T know exacty what transpired with CB and any of their customers, other than what has been posted on these forums, and THAT is just one side of the coin... JUST because they aren't addressing every single issue on here, doesn't mean they're guilty of anything. Only the customer and them know exactly what was said if the truth be told. If all the FACTS you know, have been gleaned from the forums, I can pretty much promise you, you're not getting the whole story. If I believed everything I read in these forums I'd probably be in a padded room somewhere. I will say that I know of a few geocoin designers that have had issues in the past, and it was dealt with when it happened. I refuse to name names, it's petty and uncalled for. This is not a new issue, and most likely there will be problems in the future because of the human element involved, no matter who you deal with. I would hate to see ANYONE stifled in their creative endeavors because of someone elses personal vendetta, because it's not that they won... it's that the other people that appreciate the design loses. I know I personally will keep collecting CB designs as long as they keep putting them out. I am constantly in awe of their work. Thanks to both of them for raising the bar. ~57
