The title under my avatar use to be "Charter Member" Now it is Geocacher. just curious as to why it was changed. my profile still has me listed as charter.

Mr. Irish Can you tell me why my charter membership status was removed?

Try here I just bought a Yellow Meridian from them for my mother in Law. http://shop3.outpost.com/product/3511894 The price went up a little in the last two weeks, but it is still pretty good.

I have the same unit and mount, I put mine on the bottom and used the rail mount type clamped to my handle bars. Adjust the mount for conveinient view and tighten it down, no need to rest the unit agaist anything. ATVcache

I too use this mount in my wrangler and it works great. As mentioned earlier the key is to wet the suction cup and it will not fall off. Using the suction cup the mount can be moved to any vehicle. I also purchased a couple of the the u-bolt mounts so that I can move the unit to my ATV or mountain bike. ATVcache

there are cache's that don't have coordinates to find, but a specific object that must be found, (Such as a yellow Jeep)a picture taken of the object and posted with the coordinates of where it was found in order to log the cache. In this case the hunt for the cache can be repeated over and over without going to the same place twice.

And where do you find this "photo gallery"?

I found a cache this morning and on one of the log sheets there was a label (such as a mailing label) with the geocaching logo and the perticular cachers info on it. Is there somewhere on the site where we can go to to print these?

Topo usa 3.0 will not allow you to upload maps to your gps. You can however upload routes which 3.0 is handy for making with its auto route features. The type of software you are looking for depends on what brand and model gps you are using.

I had this happen about 6 months ago. It occurs when the units power is lost. The problem was corrected a couple of firmware revisions ago. Go to magellans website and download the most current firmware, and upgrade your unit.
