Ainda tem poucos caches aí em BH, não é, Sabato. Estive aí rapidamente a trabalho (sou carioca) e estava de olho em um no parque ecológico da pampulha e em outros dois, num parque grande, acho que "das Goiabeiras" algo assim. Mas cheguei no domingo para uma reunião e quando ela acabou já era o finalzinho da tarde e o taxista falou que esses parques já estavam fechando. Na segunda também não abriam e segunda à noite parti sem conseguir encontrar nenhum cache em BH, uma pena. Na verdade sequer pude procurar um. Vamos ver se os mineiros se animam de colocar mais caches aí na capital. Abraço

Galera nova? Presente. Já escondi um novo cache aqui no Rio de Janeiro e anteontem encontrei um cache que não era visitado há aproximadamente um ano, tendo a oportunidade de libertar uns TBs que estavam presos lá. Também estou a fim de agitar o caching no Brasil. Vamos lá, galeraaaaa.

I added a Dual Craddle to my Ipod touch (gps receiver) and I am satisfied with that. The ones for Ipods are much cheaper than the ones for Iphones now. They work fine, adding accuracy to the Ipod GPS and have extra battery function. I too see a lot of people expressing unfriendly opinions to Ipod/Iphone/Smartphone users though.

Maybe I am too dumm, but what is the problem if the TB photo is on a cache log. I'm interesting in learning about this. Would anyone help me? Thanks

If your generosity allows, I would like to adopt one.

Iphone will never loose reception of gps signal, regardless of the absence of wifi or 3g signal, if you attach it to a gps receptor. There are some of those available in the market, some of them fully compatible, others working only with jailbroken phones. I use the Dual Craddle, officially recognized by Apple, which not only make gps signal reliable but also works as a second battery. Do your research and decide if any of these devices are suitable for you.

That's about the same accuracy I get with mine, but it is enough for me.

I attach a GPS receiver to my Ipod Touch, which is available also for Iphones. It is the Dual XGPS251 Craddle (this is the model that attach to ipod touch, whatever generation). The model for Iphones is another code. Works perfectly well, additionaly allowing me to use my ipod as a turn-by-turn GPS using the Tom-Tom application, available in the Apple Store (there are other cheaper turnbyturn apps but I never tryed them). The Craddle both allow me to geocache and to use it in my car. I bought mine from Amazon.com.

Ipod touch 2nd generation com Dual XGPS251 Craddle, conectado, que é excelente e dá precisão ao gps do ipod. Existe para Iphone também. O para Ipod está com um precinho bem em conta na Amazon, mas não manda pro Brasil. Mandei pro hotel de um amigo que estava em Miami e ele trouxe para mim. Boa solução para quem já tem um Ipod touch (compatível com todas as gerações, 1- 4). Abraços
