I am wondering what you consider to be the best Iowa cache you've been on. I think the Wilcox Place cache by squeamish is extremely fun. Well what do you think?

There have been a lot of valid points in this thread, hopefully I can add something. I think if you go to an area, where one cacher has placed quite a few caches it would be a nice gesture to place one so they could also enjoy seeking a cache in the area. This would be especially true in places without tons of caches.

I had quite a suprise when checking the 3rd of 3 in my Elusive Island caches! http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest_cache.asp?zip=52501 It's hiding spot had become invaded with thousands of fire ants, a good guardian indeed! Also I've noticed a lot of mosquitos guarding several caches I've been to.

Time heals all wounds, including footprints. Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying to bring in the bulldozers, but what could it hurt to walk on, or even make a new trail? What about all those darn walking trails in out parks, did they just appear? As long as we are somewhat responsible when out in nature, it wont make a bit of difference what we do(ex.no trash). I think bringing 6+ people may be a little silly, but to each his own.

there is a great cache in iowa called the wilcox place cache, it is in very difficult terrain(old strip pits), and makes for a good find, also a really chalenging one is called the unusual ottumwa cache, it is a 10 step puzzle cache and is really fun. Both were made by a friend of mine.
