  1. yup thats fine to visit your own or a cache you have done already to discover or collect a trackable the only coins i do not discover or move are the laminated paper copies, but that is my preference not a rule.
  2. I can’t see any other ones for sale on ebay ? Perhaps it is a strange category or has been sold. Regards Tarot item 300257633200
  3. lets see how much the next one currently on ebay will go for
  4. Nice choice, out of the bikes I have owned its certainly not a bike that has disappointed me. There are a couple of UK and US GS forums that are worth visiting for hints and tips. As for caching planning, I use memory map and GSAK to plan where I am going to ride and which caches I am going to do. That way I can see what caches are on green lanes (legal off road routes) or on roads that look suitable for biking. I also tend to use the bike for town centre caches as its easier to park the bike than the car and also a lot cheaper.
  5. i found that work/life etc got in the way every now and again of caching and like most this did happen when i had bugs in the bag. so what i did was put a cache out within a few strides of my house (well big strides). But also with parking alongside. This then allowed me to drop in trackables if I were not going caching in the near future, allowing others the chance to move them on. If i was going out caching i could collect some to move them on. so the answer is all cachers should put a cache at the end of their garden to allow them to place trackables if not going caching
  6. what you needed to do, was write down the trackable number of the coins you have sold then you can keep an eye on them. having never minted a coin, if they have sequential numbers then you should be able to work out all the numbers.
  7. i am sure it wont be long for these to travel to sweden, the rest of mine will be released shortly to travel the world
  8. who hoo, i got mine, thanks to the staff at blacks, proper job
  9. we did offer to put a TB on the glasses and get them back via the caching system. she did decline though
  10. the other option is send a message to other finders, if people ask me then i will give them as many pointers as they need
  11. i use gsak database which shows that sort of info, shame gc.com dont seem to make it easy to use by limiting the use of PQs its also handy for seeing caches that have not been visited for years
  12. we have enough unfound caches in uk without going abroad such as http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...c6ad1&log=y without trying a really difficult one involving TB's but if i come across one of them i might give it ago
  13. yesterday we managed to walk round 99 of the 100 before stopping, what an excellent series, so far, we will be back to try and finish it. it is a nice area to walk around, and not just a collection of micro's. the hard bit was trying to write a different log for each cache well done dr solly and i look forward to finishing the series.
  14. easy option is dont ask the pub, just publish it and all turn up
  15. oh god its like work here now. so what is the breakdown of visible ethnic minorities (or whatever this months current jargon is) next we will have the topic, so how do we encourage more VEM's followed by we need to have some positive discrimination to allow for an increase in VEM's guess we should also include a topic about cachers who are restricted by the glass ceiling, sssss going for lie down as its not work a day so does not need to worry about this till tomorrow
