Its not just cavscout! omg...seriously! other people mentioned it first! but you 2 are the only ones who take things personally! you can call me all the things you want...then go back and edit before too many people read them im just someone who is sick of constantly reading the bad things you have to say. i know you all think that geoaware is just sitting around watching all the submissions pile up laughing in delight as they reach astronomical numbers. but im sure that isnt the case. there are budget cuts, there are shortage of people in the office, restrictions by people who have more say than geoaware. just think before you post....not all is the way you think it should be in the world. Have you read your posts you're taking this way to personally. My edit in the last post was that I made it look like you was Cavscouts wife by mistake instead of geowares. I just wanted to fix that part. oi...im saying youre taking the fact the cache hasnt been approved yet as a personal attack on you. and i am now done..goodnight.

there are ways to ask questions without being rude and condesending and demanding. No, its not bad to ask nicely in an email to geoaware...try that sometime...like "hey, just wondering whats happening, just making sure you got mine" but i think geoaware has answered this question a million times....they get submitted as they come in. so if yours was #123 but half of numbers 1-122 have issues that have to be dealt with, then thats the way it goes.

Cavscout...seriously...get over yourself! EC is not the only thing these people do. As a matter of fact...its a small amount of what Geoaware and Anny have to do in a day...they have real jobs..i suggest you get something that better occupies your time too. If all you do is complain, then why do you bother with EC???? Seriously...people...its a game. RELAX. Looks like you need to relax too. Yeah I know, I'm his brother but so what. All he said is that it is taken longer than it should to get the EarthCaches published. We all have real jobs too but we chose to geocache/EarthCache like they choose to take on the EarthCache part of this game(?) which I call a hobby. Why do you go as far to say,"Get over yourself"? All he is doing is going out and finding places for EarthCaches. If it wasn't for the members taking the time to go out and finding these places for the EarthCaches there wouldn't be much need for EarthCaching on the geocaching site. We can't occupie our time caching? oh please, feel free to occupy your time by caching. But all you guys do is complain! He expects everything to be done on his time. well, sorry the world doesnt that work that way, no matter how important you think you are. And geoaware didnt just "take it on" he developed it...took alot of time and effort and heart. and all you can do is demand things be done your way. And im so sick of hearing that all the "real" work is done by the creators. yes that is work...but as you keep saying..its a hobby. no one is making you do it. Imagine sitting in front of a computer for hours counting how many EC's there are in how many countries, with how many logs and how many pictures to each cache. They do alot of traveling too, out making money to keep ECing going. So while i admit the cachers are important, please dont continuedly discount the work that people do behind the scenes.

Ok, im gonna self edit that one. Now...i am just so sick of you constantly degrading the work that geoaware and others at GSA do for something YOU supposedly love so much. You have no idea what these people do for earthcaching yet you sit by and constantly poopoo everything. Almost every post you make is either to toot your own horn or to disrespect Geoaware. Im gonna say it again...ITS A GAME for you. thats it....no part of your existence depends on ECing. It is a job for other people....and only part of the many things they have to do in a day. and i will ask this...if your days are sooooooooo long...how do you find so much to time to moan and complain and "find" and "create" earthcaches?? Have a little respect and some people might have a little for you. or you can keep posting snarky little posts...and that shows what your character is. and its not the type of character most people want to deal with.

Averaging his ownership of ECs and finds, you have a lot of work ahead of you . The hardest thing about EarthCaching is having that many finds. and doing them legitimately..meaning really finding AND really placing the EC's not all have done that I think most REAL EC's know who those people are.

Well yeah, thanks for reveiwing all the eartchcaches that everyone does the leg work on so it can get published so others can see the beauty on the earth. Not only does he review them...he placed the first ones....he did the all the work on setting it up and he is the one that keeps it going. He also continues to place new ones and takes over some that are abandoned. He is also the one that sometimes stuffs the pins into envelopes that you all get. He did all the work behind it before Anny came along to help. He does plenty of his own leg work. no need for the snarky attitude. without what he has done ....there would be nothing for you guys to whine and complain about While i dont deny that those that truly go out and create Earthcaches and visit and log them correctly help keep earthcaching going....it would not BE with out Geoaware. All the work that he does is why you can all go out and enjoy earthcaching, and there is alot of work to it. And remember....its quality ....not quantity

I can't see a problem here...its not like its a link to sell cars.or to become a member of GSA. The link just takes you to the full list of earthcaches and provides more exposure of your cache.The services provided by the earthcaching team are not free to run. They take support from sponsers, or they would not be available for all to use, unless you want to pay a fee every time you post a cache or want to find a cache. I am guessing you would not want to do that either. You post your cache..and it is for the public. This is supposed to be a fun and educational program...and whinning will just ruin it.

I can't get into geocaching.com today this is not the first time i have had problems...i may not know what i am talking about, but maybe it is a busy time of day? I am getting a server is busy page. Try, try , try and try again

as far as the camera getting wet..they have waterproof disposible cameras. the cold i dont know about but if someone says it survived then try it...most you'll be out is like $10-$20. And living in maine....i call 32f a good temp for the winter we had one winter...i think it was january...was -40(with windchill) for 2 weeks

Hi...im new...i lurk...i find some of these threads highly amusing. But seeing as i'm new...i am hesitant to jump in. I did mention my fondness for the llamas I was recently introduced to geocaching while on a trip to Colorado to visit a friend. As a former moderator of another type of group..i saw lots of "angst" posts..so i am going to try to stay out of the way as muchas possible..it takes all the fun out of why we are all here to begin with. But feel free to entertain me

ok so the llama thing is freakin funny. very random ....i like it. as for the rest of this mess...i just left another group cause of all this kind of stuff....i am new to the caching thing, and to this site so as a newbie i suppose i should shut the @#&% up ..but i think some people need to get off the computer and go out side..take a deep breath and think about what is really important. and we need more llamas
