  1. about.forestry.com My husband, a forester, found this link in the forestry section of about.com. he also says that when he used to cruise the timber in Arkansas, he would find caches all the time. At the time, he had no idea what they were. They usually got burned, or trashed since there was no record of permission to hide the cache in those particular woods. (Fed Gov Property) Of course, that was a couple of years ago, and I think the word is getting out.
  2. Will you leave them in a cache or can I trade another coin for one. I'll take the one on the left. What a wonderful picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Cav Scout, I am a DA civilian. I volunteered to deploy to Iraq last summer for 6 months (may-nov) with the Corps of Engineers. We were there for the reconstruction efforts supports 1st Cav and various Marine Corp units. (If you belong to 1st CAV then you might be familiar with our mission). I was stationed in the green zone , but had projects in Tikrit, Fallujah, Balad, Bayji, Baghdad, Mosul, Basrah, Haditha, (and too many more to list) that we monitored contracts for. Needless to say, travel to those sites could get scary! That's another story. I am very proud of my time there, and was very greatful to see our men and women of the armed services in action. They had so much dedication. I would like to order 5 coins. Whether it be military or civilian, it does not matter. I just want to be able to commemorate those soldiers and my time spent with them. Thanks Sorry for the multiple edits, spelling, reword, etc. As far as the coin color would appreciate either or both, depending on how you (Cav Scout) see it!
  10. We would be interested in purchasing 2 coins
  11. You guys have better gas prices than I do in my neighborhood in MD. Here it is $3.49-$3.64. Price gouging????? Although I have not fully starting geocaching due to the heat, school, and work (excuses, excuses) I won't pick it up anytime soon, at least ones where one has to drive a distance. Hopefully the prices go down by fall/winter or I will have to give up before I even get started!!
  12. If you h ave access to the AAFES website, or know someone that does, they have the kind of things both of you are requesting. I don't remember prices though. www.aafes.com
